I am a firm believer in counter-picking. Anyone who doesnât counter pick has no business complaining about any character.
My absolute favorite idiots are the Genji or Dva players who will not swap even if the other team has zarya, mei, sym, Moira and Brig. Like seriously⊠Their team is literally designed to ruin your birthday party.

Itâs not brutal, itâs balanced. All hitscans should have reduced range to around 20-25 meters so you can walk around easier without getting instantly clapped as soon you leave the cover. Doesnât matter if itâs Widow or Ashe or S76, they all shred in their fall off ranges which are far greater than Cass.
This or buff projectile heroes hp, so hitscans in general are less meta for once. Consistency is the king and thatâs why they are permanently meta. Cass is garbage because he is fair hitscan, sad but true. He doesnât suck against heroes like Junkrat or Hanzo, he sucks against long range hitscans and dive tanks.
Literally the most least skilled hero rn. That grenade will track you even if you port away. Let alone being a support and getting grenade⊠itâs guarantee kill

Totally, if you donât manage to bait the mag, you are likely to take it to the face.
And this play/counterplay is what keeps the game interesting.
I know right? It is why I love Mei vs Mei combats. There is a lot going on there.
Iâd like it more if it was more versatile and skill based than just ânuke a squishy for 131 damage, be totally useless against tanksâ.
Like just off the top of my head: make it take 1-2 more seconds to go off, it does 70ish damage, but it also does a hack style interrupt effect and a 50% slow for .75-1 second when it goes off and Cassidy can detonate it early by shooting it. Make the physical grenade (but not the detonation effects) immune to Suzu/recall/bubble, but vulnerable to hack.
It would let Cass use mind games to basically soft âzoneâ a tank out of using their active defenses for 4-5 seconds, and work against mobile squishies (while being significantly less feast or famine) by letting him either detonate it instantly with Fan, or leaving it up and making Tracer/Moira/Whatever have to actually time their immune to deal with it (forcing them into a fight for that 4-5 seconds) because itâs not auto-cleansed, while not insta-jibbing anyone without an immunity available.

My favorite part is how it tells you, âSTUCKâ. For most squishies itâs like, âWhy are you telling me this? So I have time to write my will before I die?â
Idk why they didnât just allow stun to stop a hero from doing a specific action rather than stopping you in your tracks for a second to be deleted with right click, kinda like sombra hack but without the hack part.
