Does anyone else miss the old way when it was best of 5? You could be down 2-0 and come back and reverse sweep 2-3. Now the games go by too quick and aren’t as fun. I never saw the match length being a problem in the past but now I feel as if they aren’t long enough.

No. Screw 30+ minute games on those maps. Constant 2-2 showdowns.

so I played in korea when it was best of 5 and there was a real problem. The team that demonstrated dominance round 1 would throw in round 2 and use it as a practice round for off characters, and only play for real again in round 3.
Other than that, i preferred the longer game. As such, I honestly wish they would increase the needed cap charge to win by about 50% and leave it at 2 rounds. that seems like it might be better. Right now it’s a very short match and tests very different skills than siege/2cp. picks with roadhog / widow are stronger and using ults to win a fight is much stronger because they have limited time to use ults, making time a more valuable resource than it is on most maps, where ult economy is more important.
anyway that’s just my feel on it.
I do admit I sometimes get sad when it’s not at least all 3 maps.
But yeah best of 5 can get a little tedious, especially being on the losing team that goes 2-0 up to end up losing 3-2.
