When a competitive game starts you hear “select your hero” but for the next 15 seconds you are still looking at the team roster. When the hero selection screen appears there is only around 15 seconds left to make your pick before the game starts.
It should give the full 30 seconds on the hero selection screen. This problem doesn’t happen in Quick Play.
