It’s a bug, if you change the key to something other than Tap it won’t happen.
This bug (if that’s what it is) is actually super annoying to me, and I’m hoping enough people interact with this/the overwatch team catches and fixes it

This is probably very accurate.
Still bugged, still annoying. Also annoying you have to go through a ton of clicks and screens to get to the stat page when you have a ‘last match’ page on the Social tab…

Why would you guys possibly assume it’s a bug? This is the direction the game has been heading. They don’t want people to get their feelings hurt. It’s the same as being auto-banned for various reports for playing well. I can assure you this is intentional–whether they try to backpedal and pretend it’s a mistake is up in the air–but it’s definitely intentional.

Yeah but this is just ridiculous. Blizzard threw out the game for 8 year olds to play for free and now it does it’s best to ruin comms just so people can’t be that toxic. F*ck that.
No cards after matches, fine. Now you can’t even chat after matches (only for like 10 seconds), that hurts a bit more. Wanna say thanks for that support who ressed you like a dozen times? Sucks to be you. Wanna tell some jokes you didn’t have time while the match was on? Guess you won’t. Let’s just kill EVERY opportunity for players to socialise, hide all the numbers that would tell you how you and your mates did, hide even your SR so you have no idea how hard you’re being screwed, and all that just to have dumb, blind, brainless players instead of a real social playerbase.
There was a time when I was happy to pay money for this game, now if nostalgia wouldn’t push me to keep playing I probably wouldn’t download even for free…
