Cannot play on American Servers

I was trying to play with my friend on America servers, I am based in Scotland and every time we queue we are put into EU games where I have lower ping and my friend has higher ping. Both of us start up the game in the Americas region so we are quite confused. This only started happening once the crossplay update went live

Yes, it’s very annoying too. I used to play on NA servers now I am forced to play on Middle east servers. I have good ping there but people are unbearable to deal with. New accounts, smurfs, forced to play low-level accounts, feeders, etc. I didn’t play a single good match after that crossplay update, I even stopped playing Overwatch (I used to play A LOT) I hope they will fix this thing, and if not I am done with OW because I can’t play on those servers.
