oh I’m loving getting a knife thrown in me when I engage as doom, the JQ just waits til I try to leave and I get hit by the largest pull known to man.

More range, somehow better lethality, and somehow better survivability, with a slimmer hitbox.
I love JQ, she’s one of the heroes I absolutely applaud them design wise to come out of ow2. But oh my good lord the hero is definition of powercreep. She’s gotten like 15 buffs since January of last year.
I still to this day hate the projectile size increase to the knife. Just made the thing way too easy to land for no reason.

I wouldn’t mind it but honestly she has this thing, where she just kinda W keys into people and my team just falls over.
Ram has this same thing with nemesis. Literally use shout or nemesis form, W key, enemy just has a stroke and falls over and it’s always like??? Idek what to do.
I go for backline, she kills faster. I punch her and ram away, their abilities last long enough to just keep going while my team stares in awe. I’ve always struggled playing against ram and JQ for this reason.
Maybe decrease her bleed damage just a little bit? Nerf her sustain so she’s more reliant on her own backline?
Probably. She’s gotten her bleed self healing increased to 2x previously and now all the way up to 2.5x.
She already has the benefit of being a skinnier-ish tank.
The displacement potential of basically every other tank ability with displacement says JQ’s knife is fine.

It’s now half that. There’s no reason for her to keep the change, it now pulls way too much because it’s no longer counteracting the knockback resistance of 50%.
I am not sure about any of that. Tanks still have 20% resistance to knock back. Perhaps Junkerqueen should get a 20% knock back increase to her knife to compensate?
Nah. I love yanking Hogs off the map that try to fish for hooks on Well.
Even more satisfying because the Hook is significantly faster than Gracie, so that means they just got flat-out outplayed.
Only real sense of powercreep with Junker Queen is in the form of Command Shout where it just bundles in different abilities altogether that would make a Support hero green with envy.
Outside of that… kind needs it.
Not totally sure on the 15 buffs, but… that’s pretty fair given how difficult she has been in trying to win games with her. Though recent improvements to her regeneration through Adrenaline rush (200%), improved her a great deal, I think the 250% improvement may have pushed her over the edge.
Right now, it is the size of Soldier’s Helix Rocket, so not super big, but still large enough to more consistently land it. There are still larger projectiles on cooldowns, like Virus (almost twice as big).
Bleed, or Wound damage hasn’t improved since her launch. The only damage increases and tweaks have been to Rampage and Carnage, otherwise her Wounds remain the same as before.
That said, the Adrenaline Rush from the Wounds (her health regeneration) has been improved several times. I think the sweet spot was 200% return, but right now it is at 250%.
I have starting seeing a few Queen’s as strong as me now, if not a little better, but most really aren’t taking advantage of it, but I still think the 250% return is probably a bit too high.
Ironically, Sigma is skinnier, as is Ramattra’s Omnic form.
Practically every projectile is faster than Queen’s knife; at least the ones on cooldowns. The only ones slower are the explosive damage ones, like Biotic Grenade and Junkrat’s Concussion Mines; both do more damage too and are also larger.
It’s basically turned off for Junker Queen’s knife. Outside of that, there’s still a great deal of air control and resistance you can push against from Knife’s pull. So I’m not too sure it’s really necessary.
Queen basically only has two options for approach; either she runs Command Shout and runs at you, or she pulls you to her so she can engage… by running the difference between the pull and close the gap this way. Knife only really pulls about 10 to 15 meters (on tanks) and you can reduce it by pulling against it. The trick, is that Junker Queen has a window of 3 seconds to decide to pull you, before knife automatically does it. So you can time it, or Queen can mess with your timing against it; but you’ll always have control against it when the pull happens.
If you try to pull on a non-Tank, the distance is greater by about 20 meters. It’s only a one second pull distance too.
Not sure if the distance needs to be changed now, since the 10 to 15 meter pull is a 20% to 30% reduction from the original non-Tank pull.

Yes, I know. But nerfing the actual healing multiplier is a significantly bigger nerf than directly hitting the damage
It sucks if you don’t have an omnidirectional momentum cancelling ability. Against tanks it’s like a Roadhog hook except she does way more consistent damage, and is self healing so much from you.
She just holds it til you try to jump out and reels you in. It honestly feels worse than Hog hook because she’s actively self healing whereas Hog will hook you in, deal a chunk of your HP but will probably take a butt ton of damage and will have to heal and walk away
Feels like she’s been powercrept so much I’m starting to hate playing against her. It’s fine for the most part on dps because I’ll just play Cass and roll to cancel knife but good Queen’s just hold it til you roll or leap on Hanzo or whatever
15 buffs since January 2023 will do that. She’s quite literally only gotten stronger and exceedingly so.
I’m more baffled at the idiocy of the dev team. They made the change intentionally because of the 50% knockback resistance tanks had… it’s now half that and they didn’t remove the change. It’s like they have amnesia and they forgot she even GOT the change.
