Can you guys get this childish and petty mindset out of your brains?

Have you ever played a role based game where dps wasn’t the longest queue?

At the end of the day, we do not realistically need to blame anyone. If we just address the problem, it does not really matter who is at fault… Which is Blizzard.

Are you… actually serious? The fact that dps players have the longest queues/times waiting for a spot in WoW, ESO, FF, GW2, Tera (and these are only the games I personally played) isn’t enough?

Every kid knows that most people play dps when given the option to play different roles. If that’s really news to you at this point I have to ask myself how you can actually play Overwatch with those blinders you’re wearing :o

And it’s not about putting people in a basket or being biased? I made an argument which I also explained. Quite clearly. Not sure which part you’re having issues with.

It’s very simple logic: Most people queue dps -> dps has the longest wait time for a match -> dps people are responsible for dps queues.

You might want to stop thinking of “being responsible” as something inherently negative. It isn’t. It’s just a fact.

(And I never said they deserve it so how am I being problematic here? )

Wow, that’s actually spot on…

Yup. You’re right. People queuing support and tanks actually reduce dps queue times. People queuing dps increase them. So therefore, dps are the ones that are causing the long times.

Personally I think some deserve the longer queue because their behavior is part of what caused it in the first place. And some of them don’t because they played the game the way the devs intended as team players and it just didn’t work out.

Either way though, I don’t think anyone deserves to put up with this for long. And that Blizzard needs to figure out some solutions for this asap.

I… am going to have a lot to reply to… I didn’t expect this to blow up as much as it did…

No in fact It’s alwzys the DPS fault. Learn to play Tanks/Supports then you won’t have to wait long if not then enjoy your long wait queue. 0 sympathy for the dps community they legit deserve it.

Never underestimate the power of people with too much time on their hands and not enough hobbies.

Well with all these high DPS Queue times, people have chance to come and respond to the forums, obviously. /s

Actually, if we want to be overly pedantic, the people leaving the game after checking it out for a week caused the queue imbalance. If they stuck around, the queues would be relatively even. But who could blame them for leaving. It really makes me wish those “many will return for the queues of roles” jesters were correct. But as usual I am the king of being right and these people just ain’t on my level of properly speculating common sense trends.

DPS players should get prefferered queue so that it makes all roles the same queue time.

Make DPS slightly shorter makes T/S slightly longer

Not sure if your logic is too galaxy brain for me to understand or if you’re actually serious…

Do you mean artificially inflate tank and support queue times? Because as hilarious as that would be as they would be forced to take a taste of their own utterly repugnant medicine… I think the short queues are a good incentive for people on the fence that we want to kick onto the other side.

I think I love you…

I mean how would that even work? If you increase q times for supports and tanks, you automatically increase dps q times as well because you know, there’s not enough supports and tanks for all the dps players.

You’d be shooting yourself in the foot.

So punish people for playing roles that a vast majority refuse to play?

Explain how that works?

This is mostly subjective and personal, but I’ve noticed that my q times are longer when I queue as a DPS rather than a support or tank

It was not my idea, I just thought it sounded funny. I am not about it, though.

Not really those people fixed the imbalance temporarily. They aren’t the cause.

No my point is just that it literally doesn’t work  Dude wants to shorten dps q’s by making support/tank q’s longer, not realising that by withholding tanks/supports from dps players actually increases dps q’s.
