? i don’t understand the last part. You’re saying if my ult concept was implemented and then having it activated while she’s sniping would cheapen her gameplay? Isn’t this the same as using sights while sniping? they’re both essentially activating ult while widow still looks for kills. Is this not the same?
Ashe isn’t a sniper like widowmaker. Ashe can’t one shot like hanzo and widow (on her own without dmg boost) and giving widow a different ult wouldn’t harm her identity as a traditional sniper because she can still one shot and the sights is still implemented on her venom mine.
they’re black widows (her literal name is ‘widowmaker’ and it has relation to the black widow spider) they spawn in kind of like how BOB does. The only way they can be destroyed is by killing widow herself. (this can be changed, constructed, etc. I was just brainstorming originality and what separates the characters from each other. If the ult did damage and went away on its own then wouldn’t that be too similar to Ashe’s dynamite?) The ult is kind of like you’re being poisoned (widow has an ability that does this therefore relates to her character concept) and can be strategically activated when squishies/targets are low hp. This is what i mean by something out of the norm but sticking to the concept of her.
