Honestly I think they should have a subforum strictly dedicated to balance and design requests with ONE megathread per hero.
No reason why just one hero should be singled out with a megathread.

We start trying to get the hero fun again without screwing with the over all power level, obviously
Sounds good to me. But wouldnât it be easier to suggests tweaks to her current design, rather than convincing Devs to do yet another rework?
Well they clearly didnât do 2.0 correctly with mercy.
I think its only fair she got a rework to actually balance out the hero and make her fun to play aswell.
Considering what theyâve had to do to make this rework even look blaanced (that zipppy healer having concrete shoes as one of her abilities.) and having her healing reduced to the lowest HPS out of all the main healers.
Nope, I see literally no way to fix this rework without something that is at least partially a rework.
Why do you always insist on doing whatâs âeasyâ? âEasyâ doesnât solve anything. âEasyâ is slapping on endless nerfs to a failed rework. âEasyâ is half-baked changes that donât fix any of the problems and ultimately add even more problems. âEasyâ hasnât worked for about a year now, and will continue to not work.
He is all about ârealismâ which basically means enabling the devâs laziness
Can you see any way that rez can be fun as an ability and still be fair and not the source of 80% of her power? Because I really canât. And I know you like to think just putting it in her Valk would solve it, but many of us already dislike Valk anyway and that one single rez wouldnât really change that (at least not for me, I would just go back to using Valk for rez⌠which really feels like a poor manâs ult).
Even if we canât get a partial revert I want another rework, one were we can have some input, because this just isnât working out.
The main complaints I hear are Valk is too safe, and Rez feels bad because itâs slow.
So one would imagine it would be an easy sell for âMake Valk less safe, and Make Rez fasterâ
Valk shouldnât be her part of her ult at all. It takes up too much space in her kit and is the source of too many problems.
Join the âcauseâ. Make them talk o us. The sooner there will be an actual exchange of ideas, you will have your front page clean.
âSpamâ is literally the only option we have. Well, except shutting up and pretending we agree. And honestly - if other people being unconfortable is the last straw that makes them talkâŚ
Edit: And what do you know⌠Your favourite hero can be next.
I would honestly not be surprised if Hanzo was on the start of his one year journy through the sewers.
Itâs not quite as simple as that. Current Valk removes a lot of decision-making and basically leaves Mercy with an ult that is âmore of the sameâ. Itâs similar to Tac-Visor in that regard, with the difference that a good Visor can swing fights heavily (which always feels good).
Either Valk needs to be heavily changed to make it more of an ability where skill is shown (like how someone new might use Visor when everyone is behind a shield whilst a more skilled Soldier would flank or wait for the shield to break).
When we discussed new ultimates I suggested one that would not be rez: the idea was that Mercy would give 100% damage reduction (not to mistake for invulnerability) in an AoE for a short duration, and after that 20 hps for 5 seconds. The idea was that it would work as a counter to burst damage without having quite the same power as Sound Barrier and, unlike her old ult, be more proactive rather than reactive (forcing good players to time the ult right).
Not saying I want exactly that, but I do want some form of burst back for her which requires timing and can have a heavy impact when done right.
They have communicated multiple times on the issue, you guys just donât like their response.
Thing is Valk is impactful, and Rez is impactful.
The problem is that it doesnât feel impactful.
What weâre dealing with is more aesthetics than balance.
This is a very good idea on paper, but I have a feeling that peopleâs posts would still be ignored. It would, in a way, be akin to a megathread for each hero. And we know how those work.
And again - response not explaining their actions is as good as âbecause I said soâ
OH GOD YES PLEASE
The forums are a mercy mess
No thanks. I enjoy the freedom.
You are not entitled to a response that will satisfy you, you arenât even entitled to a response at all. Blizzard told you what they think, so stop going around saying you will continue until they will respond because they already have.
First you cannot dislikeâŚ
But yeah, freedom being ignored is still freedom.
At least ve can vent.
