If it is not Overwatch 2, role queue is REALLY dead. Like, they Mercy soul has disappeared so that they cannot rez it. Rofl.
They already have a build for role q and know how they would implement it. All thats left is probably kinks in the system and whether they actually SHOULD do it.

Just because you’re so bad at the game you can’t adapt to any situation doesn’t mean DPS players and flex players need to be punished with this idiotic, unrealistic fantasy of role queue or forced 2-2-2.

You make it sound so easy. Adaptation isnt the issue 3Head. I love ‘adapting’ when we have 5 DPS and 1 healer while they have 2-2-2 bunker. Even if they get the 5 DPS comp, IT STILL ISNT FUN. It isnt a competitive game at ALL.

I am not able to enjoy a single comp game because of people telling me to not play what I want. It’s disgustingly annoying to listen to “you’re trolling” (I’m not) and “Do something” (I am). League is very different in that it has defined positions, not roles.

Precisely. The ‘positions’ ARE roles. We just want Blizzard to make it like League (Not exactly but pretty similar). That way everyone gets to play what they want in a universally acceptable comp.

I mean come on. Even in T500 people still throw games and are unhappy to fill everytime.

For starters, it does allow for people to pick roles and enforce them, which I believe is the main reason for roleQ right?
LFG is basically nonexistent in almost every region as far as I know because it’s not used
LFG literally forces roles, except it’s far more flexible in that the comp is pre-determined by the players, not blizzard
This will not change with roleQ, You’re just going to have Zarya/Hog or Zen/Brig instead of actually decent comps, and you’re going to complain again.
RoleQ does nothing to stop throwers either, throwing has nothing to do with hero select.
I also seriously suggest examining why they are unhappy to fill.
Everybody has some reason for action. For me it’s because I fail to have any enjoyment in playing non-DPS roles 90% of the time (The rare times I do I’m not trying at all). For others it’s other things. It’s easy for this community to just brand people as something without examining the reasons behind it, it’s worthwhile to consider the feelings of others once in a while, as you would want them to do. Set an example and at least think about their reasons.

If you want 2-2-2 there’s always the group finder. All role queue will do is blow up DPS queue times, and as a result the number of flank hogs and DPS zens will skyrocket. It’ll be 2-2-2 sure, but you’ll still have the same uncooperative players as you did before.

Because 6 stacking works so well above plat and you can totally 6 stack in GM… Wait it isnt that good in Diamond/Masters, in fact its actually TERRIBLE? And you CAN’T go higher than a 2 stack in GM? Well damn…
because LFG is useless at ranks where compositions and teammates actually start to matter
