in defence of achievement hunters. If the game didn’t have very specific achievement requirements then people wouldn’t leave.
Bruh their making an entire second freaking game just to support PvE, PvE lacks support now because the games engine wasn’t built for it so it’s not great. Yeah all people in the overwatch community do is complain
I’m aware, I’m just clarifying to the parties involved that this is exactly that; if you bought Overwatch, you bought a PVP game, not a PVE game.
So, you’ve already played OW2 and can say that all is well now? Amazing! I thought it didn’t even have a release date yet?
It’s the dumbest thing ever. Back fill in PVP on defeat screen. Still kept in. Back fill in PVE. Where there’s nothing to get mad at, doesn’t exist. Backwards world.
Yep, that’s what you can expect from a company that’s putting it’s entire PvP game on ice just to update the engine so that PvE is worthwhile
Except they’re still rolling out with the balance changes between experimental cards and PTRs. All PVP-centric. What have they done to improve the PVE aspect for OW1 in comparison?
We’re still waiting for something as basic as backfill to be added to events that have been around for years because ol’ Uncle Jeff stressed how important backfilling is. Well? Must not be important enough for PVE. How about finishing that roster? Not important enough, either. We can go back and forth on Zenyatta and Mercy changes all year-long, though. Because Overwatch will always be PVP first with PVE “tacked on.”
I’m not mad, I just don’t board hype trains and I’ll call it what it is in a heartbeat. For PVE, you’re getting a single story arc, confirmed, and the hero missions which are basically Archives 2.0. Convince me that they will continue to develop PVE content past that in any manner that won’t be comically comparable to what Fortnite did with Save The World.
