Honestly I’d even take a Bastion nerf at this point, just something the DPS players a taste of how every other role is being treated right now.

DPS are the carry role only tanks can “carry” on GM / Pro scene because they’re extremely team-dependent and we all know that that doesn’t happen in OW. Only in very high ranks. Because everyone wants the pew pew and because they’re the most independent and high burst damage + CC DPS kits are overbloated and they have been the best role in the game for a loooong time.
Your queue times support this fact too.

If this was such a “free value role” the queue times for Tanks wouldn’t be INSTANT.
Keep with your mentality and playing this 
game, I will love to see you guys keep having obnoxious queue times in OW2 because the same problems persist.
they are instant because people dont like playing the free value role because its unfun and uncompetitive

Nerfing things based on pure spite and envy of the people who benefit from the stupid decisions made by the balancing team is unwise. We should just actually balance the game and nerf the problematic heroes, which do include DPS

You do realize that there are a number of DPS that have only received nerfs for years or have generally been in the shadows for years, right?
Sym or Bastion as examples for “forgotten” heroes and Widow for nerfed heroes. Widow hasn’t had any buffs since 2018 (the small falloff buff doesn’t count as it was a nerf at the same time, affected little and Widow hasn’t had a falloff before)
Just because Cassidy and Hanzo continued to get buffs despite being very strong doesn’t mean DD players are proponents of it.
