I’d like to see how teams are doing solely in Stage 2, as opposed to only overall standings

It’s weird how the app shows stage standings, but the website shows overall standings.
How are the overall standings relevant to the overall competition - are the placings used from overall for the finals, but the stage finals only use the stage standings? It’s poorly explained on the site and makes little sense.
