The new mythic is, how to I put it, lackluster.
Aside from the Gameplay disadvantages the VFX and the Hat have its more like a Legentary + then a mythic.
Mythics are (or rather should be) skins that allow the player to customize it (not to grind throuth levels to max is out).
Like the skin is 4 preset skins you can change the color of, but thats it.
It does not even have a additional gun as I am aware.
I will buy it, but only the base version and only because I have those Prims lying around since S10.
Get back to work and create Mythics that are worth calling them Mythics (like the Genji one for example)
Don’t, you clearly dislike it and the base form is garbage anyway. Just save it, or don’t even buy the BP at all unless there’s an item in there you really want.
im a widowmain, other skins do not interest me in the slightest.
Ive also have those prims lying around from S10.
Furthermore, Ive never spend a dime on OW2. (all coins are f2p/bing).
And funnily enough the base skin is the best of those versions, which I quite like.
Just like how the grocery shrink ray hits packaged foods at the supermarkets, reduced quality DLC is how gaming companies try to stealthily handle inflation without driving up prices which tends to drive away their customers. (That and for good ol’ corporate greed too.)
You shouldn’t expect mythic skin quality to forever remain the way it was when Genji’s first mythic first debuted. At least not unless their asking prices go up again (which without a doubt will happen in time).
everyone who expects something good coming from blizzard nowadays is a Fool, sadly.
I do not expect that they change future skins since money is the driving factor of blizzard and not quality and passion.
I just say that they should change it, I do not expect them to do it. If it falls on deaf ears or, better said, blind eyes, then so be it.
