I find it annoying that Orb on either side is very easy to ignore. But they never thought. maybe we should have Athena tell the player they got discorded. And not a stupid sound, with text that gets buried. On top of audio issues. You couldn’t even need the glowing sides. Just have the audio prompts when attached and let go. Know why people can easily miss someone is back capping a payload. Because the payload and points only beep when contested. Why don’t they have a special beep, while moving. The indicator on the top is ANOTHER thing your brain can ignore. I’m not going to ignore voice sounds.
I agree… except the back-cap. If you can seize the opportunity, take it. Stop forgetting about the payload and there wont be back-capping.
But than why have the indicator at all? It’s there to warn you. But does nothing that visually sticks out. Bar that little number. Which, again, doesn’t stand out. There was a short time when the arrow indicator turned yellow. And I actually noticed a problem. Than they removed it. And back to easily ignored info. If I could. I’d have the number on the cart get large after a few seconds. Or have other UI options. Such as putting the cart number over the cross hair. like Tracers blink arrows.
Mccree: My spinnnne! It’s, its, b-Brokennnnnnnn!!
6 second later: howdy folks
Baby steps. Can we just start with getting Sombra to EMP at the beginning of the teamfight instead of at the end when her team’s already dead? :\
The idea is old and has been menionted already many times.
Still a good one that i support.
I bet you are Fitzy tired of calling who get hacked
I agree
The highest pickrate Sombra ever had was ~3% for about 2 weeks directly after her rework and even that is far from meta.
All voice lines are generic an can be used by every hero equally and no one is listening to them anyway beside “I need healing” and maybe ult stat.
Impossible
Hack is a no-aim-no-brain ability that never fails … everyone knows that
I highly doubt that it actually happens that often and that it is a real issue.
Ikr, it’s not like it happens almost every time a sombra goes for the hack without being bubbled!
I like this idea. You hear Ana say “Bedtime,” or something like that whenever she hits a sleep
Not quite true

Two weeks was the time between her rework and when she got nerfed. Her 3% was the spike at day 1, before getting halved at the end of day 2, then sliding back down towards 1% two weeks later.
This has become more apparent after hack duration was nerfed and you had to call out your hacks well in advance to actually get your team to react in time.
This would be a huge QoL change, that and a better visual indication of who is hacked.
Hah! Good luck with that…
"Hey guys, I just hacked Reinhar- "
“ALL OF YOU ARE TRASH!”
“SHUT UP I HAVE THREE GOLD MEDA-”
“NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR WORTHLESS MEDALS”
“SOMBRA IS TRASH, SWAP OR I’LL REPORT YOU!”
“Just use mic” is an unrealistic expectation for communication then the voice channel is so frequently crowded by petty bickering and toxicity.
Then there’s the added complication that a significant number of players refuse to use mic. They may not be particularly verbose, or maybe they’re afraid of getting targeted for whatever their voice reveals about them.
Either way, you have a bunch of quiet players who won’t use mic for personal reasons, and a bunch of toxicity-spewing players who can’t use mic without rendering the voice channel useless for communication.
Eh… My teammates are usually in that second category of “no one is willing to use their mic”. But when they do… Hoo boy.
Actually, since I’m on console it’s more likely that they don’t even have a mic.
Honestly the main problem Sombra has is nothing to do with her balancing. It’s just that she’s an incredibly team-oriented hero, she requires a well-coordinated team to capitalise on her hacks and EMPs. It’s easy to say “Sombra is bad” when most ranked games have little to zero coordination.
Um i thought that was what mic’s are for or for pc users typing just because your lazy doesn’t mean blizz has to do extra work on silly things like this
OMG! Yes please! Like most hackers the people who play Sombra tend to be quiet little loners who don’t say a word half the time. Lol.
