Ask yourself why would a patch note admit that? It would be silly of them to input that there to make it obvious.
Why does genji need another hard counter?
They had no problem doing it for Doomfist’s nerfs.

No, because they wouldn’t nerf heroes just to benefit a single hero you think is cancer.
Edit: Unless something as 0 counterability, like Doom’s ult.
no hard counters in general, period.
“hard counters” is a community made concept made by players who dont want to take the time and effort outplaying their most hated heroes.
while there can be heroes that are easier to use against than others, it is simply bad game design to create a hero that forces the other to switch simply by being in play.

How would you know that? Developers can be deceptive too making it like they balance for the game sake, but secretly for a hero on the side. Developers are human beings too and we are creatures of habit.
What heroes have mobility? I’ll leave it at that since it’s not hard to know who is on that list.

The fact that they mentioned Zenyatta and Ana specifically, meant his Meteor Strike made their lives in specific difficult.
So if anything they pandered to the immobile supports and not flankers

They made that change specifically because it gave heroes like Zenyatta and Ana trouble, you claim they pander to Flankers and they make changes around them.
Yet in no patch do I see “X ability made it difficult for Genji to do X thing, so we did X change on it”
