The wide group system is the solution as it reduced the amount of groups a solo player faces now. I wont bother explaining as to how though.
I am FOR solo queues sure, but i think they fear that it will kill group play, as grouping is severely less popular then people believe.

I’d prefer queue times as short as possible. Am solo only player also
maybe in overwatch 25 we get that thing they said they wanted to add in s3…
One of the hardest parts of playing solo q tank is joining a team where people are grouped up and then you have a support that just hard pockets their DPS buddy (or buddies) all game.
If I join in a four stack I am leaving, I don’t care if it’s comp. 4 stacks are genuinely the most toxic overwatch can ever get

Whilst we get a solo queue, can we get our second tank back?
It is a flawed “solution” which does not even prevent you from being thrown in a stack. Most of the games I still try to play the week-ends are with stacks.
And BTW a lot of the “narrow” stacks are fake ones, they just created new accounts to avoid the restrictions.
Who thought allowing a GM and a bronze in comp was a good idea anyway…

How is that difficult to play? Is the other support a DPS or something? 
Better hope they carry or they will blame you. I would not call that a challenge so much as annoying. If anything, those games are technically easier to play because with reduced options, you can make the correct choice more often… I guess.
