Can we choose to not use emojis?

What I mean is if I type :) I want it to just appear like that. It should only become an emoji if you type :slightly_smiling_face: which would show up like this: :slightly_smiling_face:

I just like the regular text faces way better than the emoji things. Stuff like this one :stuck_out_tongue: are kind of weird because they look very different from :P IDK maybe it’s just me but I prefer the text ones way more.

It’s not ideal, but you can force the system to read your text smilies how you want them to be.

:) & :p

just type [i][/i] between the parts of the smile that automatically change the face.

Use = instead of : for the eyes.

rather than use the emojis the devs gave us, use these!

(But if you wanna use the faces, just use an = for the eyes)
