On my computer it says : Season ends in 5 hours.

Im sure youve seen the new season starts 2 hours after that.

so I just made it to 25 in time on an alt and im on my last placement currently, I doubt it will only last 12 minutes, will it still give me my placement and everything if the game ends after the time?

OFF-SEASON TIME REDUCED

The Competitive Play off-season break between Season 13 and Season 14 has been reduced to two hours in length.

Here is the part about the reduced off-season. No hints of changes to come otherwise.

just incase anyone else finds themselves in this specific situation, the answer is yes, I got placed and got my end of season CP and all that.

Yeah, if you are paired for a match before the buzzer sounds, that match plays out in full. If anything this is why there is still at least a two hour off-season; to allow any matches in progress to play out.
