I’ve always wondering why life bar and ultimate status can’t be added like the PVE hud or that in spectator mode so that players especially supporters can keep on track of other characters’ health status.
Nah we need to stop lowering gamesense and awareness requirements

Visual clutter. There’s more than enough of it in this game
if I’m not mistaken they had mentioned somewhere that they were evaluating this HUD thing.
I frankly hope that it is not the only part of the HUD that they are reviewing but that it is about to be coordinated with other elements of the game, such as the definition of the numbers of the heroes’ abilities in the information card (F1 key) or on the graphic effects of some abilities that overlapping each other create confusion.
I can understand that they have paranoia about the visual lightness … but it should also be admitted that the lack of monitoring of the status of teammates in real time is a contradiction for the competitive concept that the game claims to have.
the same goes for the coordination of ultimates in communications: how is it possible that we can respond “you’re welcome” to a thank you from a teammate simply by pointing at him but if someone tells us that his ultimate is almost ready / ready we must necessarily use the communication wheel to confirm that we understood (therefore implicitly that we want to coordinate with him)?

I think they mentioned it would be like the version in the 3 PvE maps, where its like smaller versions of your health bar above yours on the left side of the screen. I assume there would be an option to toggle it on or off as well because not everyone would want it there.
