Can Ana's hit box be made bigger

Ana is just weird to shoot especially from behind where she leans over and s9 bullets just hit her back instead of neck/head

That is not how it works. The hits are fully registered at the shooter’s PC in real time.
You can easily verify this by shooting at a steadily moving target in some custom mode.

If there was a delay, you would need to shoot in front of the targets with hitscans to compensate for the server latency, but you never will have to do that.
Instead, if you keep your crosshair at the target, you will get a hit.

The latency only affects on “when” the hit is registered by the server.

lol what universe do you live in. Guaranteed dmg on hit, guaranteed heals on hit, huge hitbox on nade, super forgiving hitbox on sleep. Smallest hurtbox of the entire cast. The game literally revolves around nade. They quite literally buffed all the supports to the gills and she’s still the most played and most picked. Are you under a rock?

Don’t point out the facts about nade and sleep, you’ll hurt the feelings of the people who think they’re ‘skill shots’.

This only works with hitscans. With projectiles your computer and the server are constantly sending info back and forth for hit detection, hero placement and when you shoot travel time and hit detection. If the server sends info that the other person is in a different place and due to fluctuating latency or just the other person having lower latency it dictates that. Then it will show that the person is not in the same place on your screen. So if you are aiming at someone and they strafe the data saying where they are is not in sync with your computer.

What hero does not have guaranteed damage on hit? How is this somehow exception on ana? Actually, Ana does Damage over time with her shots, so it is relatively “bad” damage compared to others.
And the same for heals. Which healer does not have guaranteed heals when you hit your heals?

Ana is low skill according people who never played Ana. Classic forum logic 101. We make up any absurd fantasy to justify our magnificently hilarious lack of understanding of the game

Which is really dumb because a lot of these heroes are massive, yet a character like Genji has the same HP as them. It’s not even just the model size, but the stance alone makes it much more awkward to land shots.

Pair that with hyper-mobility and the character gets a massive advantage for free. Same is true for the opposite where big hitbox characters with low mobility get absolutely screwed.

It’s a full 70 dmg for hitting any part of a hero’s hitbox. With every other hero to get that amount of consistent dmg you have tradeoffs you do less dmg for hitting non crits or have to hit multiple projectiles or be in range like the shotgun hero’s or Rein. But she’s a sniper, ok but she doesn’t even have to adjust for healing or dps. She shoots her team with the same darts that she shoots the enemy. Same with nade. Not to mention the counter to snipers is diving they aren’t supposed to be good in close range. But her kit has the best dps dueling tools, an aoe 90 health selfheal that boost her broken support passive and does the same dmg to enemies even though y’all both got hit with the same juice. And a full stop player control negation ability that on most hero’s leads to an instant death combo. Like c’mon man its not even fair. Dps doom wasn’t even this bad after nerfs (He was made to one shot Ana by they way so her kit could stay this busted)

Okay, and Ana cannot crit. And the dmg is still dmg over time.
Which means that it can be mitigated more efficiently than real burst damage from many other hitscan weapons.

For example, Illari does 75 on bodyshots and she can crit. Ana does 70, and cannot crit. And ana’s damage will be dealt over time.

So, if someone is at 70 health, and Illari lands a shot at them. They are dead, guaranteed.
Ana hits a shot, if the target receives any healing in the next .6 seconds, they will not die. Or, the target may use their own tools like tracer recall etc.

So saying that ana does guaranteed dmg, is arguably backwards compared to others.

I wouldnt say ana is the best duelist of supports. Baptiste, Illari, Kiriko are very good duelists.

Yes, that is how an fps game works. You hit someone’s hitbox, they take full damage. That’s not unique to Ana. 70 damage equals 4 shots to kill a 250hp hero. Yet somehow that’s too much?

Bruv I don’t anyone here has less than 400 hours. This is a new account, my main got shafted by blizz because they went woke and you can’t say bad words in this good Christian server. Not to mention this thread is about playing against her not playing her.

You can’t say a hero is easy without ever playing said hero. You certainly show you don’t understand how her kit works because you never played Ana

You’ve been playing for so long yet don’t even have a basic understand of how Ana gun works?

Every other character gets extra damage for headshot which is a hell of a lot higher than 70 genius. You can be playing for 200 years for all I care but full damage on hitting someone is how every weapon in every game works

You apparently don’t get value of guaranteed dmg. Especially on such a forgiving projectile and forgiving hurtbox, Ana literally has one of the biggest projetile hit boxes for the size of her projectile and it travels at the same speed as a hitscan damn near. For comparison Genji gets like 32 dmg per shuriken but his shuriken are designed so they usually don’t all hit unless you are going god mode. Her dmg and healing used to be way less to play into the fact that nade was going to boost her healing. Then the devs decided to boost her for no reason than not dealing with one shots
