Buff Genji's Left Click. Nerf Right

You all act like hitting left click is hard. It’s a little harder, but not much.

This is pretty much what I dislike about OP’s stance, he’s speaking as if Genji is a low skill hero, like anyone can pick him up and do well, but he’s objectively wrong.

With the consistency of right clicks at close range? Yes, it is

He is, sorry. He is very easy.

Ah, a troll I see.

Welp, onto the next thread. Bye-bye!

Right clicks at close range are the problem. Ever since the spread reduction.

I’m not trolling dude. I find him one of, if not the easiest flankers in the game. A right clicking machine that just mows down healers for sport. I never understood how people found him difficult.

If you put all of Rein’s damage into his fire strike, that would kill the character.

It definitely is, it has the 2nd slowest projectile speed in the game.

Except for firestrike is cooldown. Left click is primary.

I have a very bad aim. Hilariously bad. I can aim with genji just fine.

It took me about 1 month to learn to play him at a gold/plat level.

I think that’s just the movement at your rank being really bad.

Brb. I will check my stats in game and see how many hours I have vs where I play him at. Might take sec.

Thats like nerfing the hell out of Widows sniper but super buffing the SMG.

It’s not what the hero is supposed to do.

Its still an example of more damage being bad. Let me give you another example:

Taking damage out of Doomfists cooldowns and putting it into his primary fire would kill the character.

Remember the people who said “take widows damage from her sniper and put it into her AR mode”? That would also kill her.

Here are mine

Pretty much.

It’s kinda like this:

Super buff Widows SMG and gut the sniper and she becomes a close range hero, but she’s still worse than Mccree or Soldier, so why pick Widow?

Same with Genji, and hes basically just another cookie cutter projectile DPS except there are far better options than him.

Unironically, nice winrate. so I have 6 hours as him competitively, and I play him at plat level. I outperform as him over my other dps such as soldier, who has double that time (I am a tank main, and that is where all my 1,025 hour time is). I feel like i’m terrible as genji, yet I outperform my primary dps heros.

IMO, becasue he is easy as heck.

Name your main, and I’ll give you a comparison as to what this kinda change would do to your hero.

Orisa 20 characters limit

I frankly think you all are missing out on left click life on genji. I primarily left click. Tracking all shots does much more damage than right click. This to me is an objective buff. Granted, I’m an Orisa main, so maybe my tracking is really good.

Ok, so let’s say we take a lot of power out of any one of her abilities, but buff the living heck out of the gun.

She becomes basically a projectile DPS with 400-450HP [cant recall the number currently]

Since she only has one firing mode, let’s say Halt.

Instead of being a pull with an aura, it just sticks the target in place for one second but has to make contact to actually work.

Or nerfing Fortify to be like 20% damage reduction but making her shots do 24 per hit.

She’d be played primarily for her gun, and that contradicts her design of being a Tank. If you wanted to play another pew pew DPSer you wouldve just went DPS.

Its moreso because it contradicts the flow of the hero.

Mccree is a mid-range hitscan DPS for example, people like his playstyle and play him as such.

But now we nerf his primary fire shots to 40 damage but buff the FTH with drastically reduced spread and falloff.

Mccree isnt meant to be a FTH bot, so it makes the character just lose their identity.
