I main the character, and even I can see what’s keeping her over the edge of other supports and want a more dynamic and fair meta game for them. But sure, you can blatantly ignore the power she wields with both a single target heal and a decent AOE one.

I’m not ignoring it but at the same time…people say “oh the packs are broken” (and other stuff) and then you mention that “when stacked with “X” ability it does even more” …yea…that’s two abilities so obviously the effects are going to stack and do more, you clearly ignored that every healer apart from Zen and mercy can use two abilities to increase their healing output that aren’t ults…just like bionade and Ana shots, or Lucio heal song and amp, or Moira heal spray and heal orb…or bap heal nades and heal ability (I forget the name). But the difference with all of the healers is that they can do that without having to deal damage. Brig has to deal damage to do the thing you said, she can’t do that other wise…so in that sense it’s balanced because she has to put herself in danger to get that increased value

Yes but unlike Lucio for example, as soon as they leave his AOE they dont get that healing, amped or not and Lucio has to follow to keep it on them.

Inspire applies an effect that they can walk away with AND apply a boost at range. That is the problem. There is barely a range limitation and that is why she is just so much better than other healers.

Well, that’s not exactly what’s going to happen. If genji’s winrate and pickrate continues to drop miserably, Jeff Kaplan is most likely going to buff genji again. Like they said before, they’re keeping a close eye on genji to make sure he’s in a good place. At the moment, genji’s pickrate is around 3% and has a winrate of 37%, which let me tell you, is insanely low compared to other DPS heros in the game.

This is from a GM standpoint by the way. I’m not really concerned with lower ranks as they really don’t give a true perspective of how powerful a hero is.

Oh trust me, the amount of people I have seen that have gained 500 sr just over one season while having been hardstuck plat since season 4 is astounding.

But if you say this about the people on forums crying about how Brig or Moira is now trashed after whatever latest nerf, while they maintain support ranks well over both their dps and tank ranks, you get flagged.

Oh trust me, the amount of people I have seen that have gained 500 sr just over one season while having been hardstuck plat since season 4 is astounding.

i have seen only a couple people gain over 500sr playing genji after the buff, and they were NOT plat.
they were low gm high master before brig and diamond after and got high elo again after the buffs.

not the same thing as someone who is plat deciding to play brig and getting gm, which is far more common.

I have played Genji, in fact I have an account which is purely Genji/Doomfist. Admittedly I don’t touch it much as the characters are to easy and not fun to play as killing people requires barely any effort or thinking to get to a good rank.

I sense a strong from that statement. Genji and Doomfist are argurably one of the hardest heroes to play in the game. As a result, it’s impossible for you to not think at all while playing those heroes. I don’t know whether you’re playing in Quickplay (most likely) or comp but at a lower rank. However, if you were to play comp at higher ranks, you would understand what I mean by those heroes taking a lot of skill

Odd, myself and the people that I play with all have the opposite of your opinion.
I can play them an literally shut my brain off. I play ranked at 3800 so not the highest level of play but I’m not a low ranked player.

I just checked and you’re low platinum so I’m not really sure where you have the experience of playing in high ranks from.
