Brigitte to masters +

After watching that Justin guys Brigitte to masters video I decided I’d do it myself to see how I fare. Also will be doing it on my main acc cause idrc.

The highest I’ve been on my main is 3400 and I’ve been in diamond for like 6 seasons prior so I do have some skill lol.

I ended last season at 2716. Just finished placements and I placed 2840. So far I have a 78% win rate. I went 7-2-1 in placements. In QP I only have 12hrs on Brig prior to doing this.

Basically I’m making this post as a reference so when season ends or I actually manage to get to masters I can update you all.

I’m already learning Brig isn’t as easy as I once thought I will admit but anyways wish me luck!

Try to harass tanks into swapping to the ones you want them to play. Can’t have an Orisa messing up your climb. Hopefully she’ll have a Roadhog with her you’ll be able to abuse to this end. Focus on invalidating him and rush they’re comp with Rally before the Orisa can get her drum.

Thanks! Gonna take any advice I can get.

Swing, Bash, Swing, Mace, will KO most squishies. The shield isn’t instant, it also does not cover your feet very well. In general save your repair packs for critical squishies. Never Rally if enemy Zarya has ult, its like asking to feed.

I would encourage everyone to spend some time on heroes they think are too powerful. Not only does this dispel the myths that you see floating around this place, it also is useful for the player to see just how the hero is vulnerable for when you run into one on the other team.

Most important thing to do as Brigitte is reacting to a situation you’re in with your teammates and being a right decision also. Like shield bash to stop ults, save someone from dying with armor pack, etc.

If you want, you can do flanking Brigitte playstyle. Position yourself where you can surprise the enemy backline and doing a third person shield trick will help. Once you find a target and it’s unaware of you, swing -> swing -> shield bash -> swing -> whip shot to cancel the swing animation. Should be enough to kill 200 hp heroes or below and they can’t even fight back. If you solo queue, this playstyle is strong since individual skills matter and barely any coms exist often.

Justin’s video isn’t the only case. Recently, kragie encountered a gm brig one trick who was in plat for several seasons before playing Winston.

This dude did it, 4200, in my fricking game and had as Tracer 20% accuracy and 30% with McCree.

99% on Bricket. His highest rank prior was 3539. Before and after mid plat / mid diamond. Ends in 4200, what a meme.

Her damage isnt actually that strong. But if you can corner people you can use flail without letting them go which adds up lot of damage. And also small places lets you safe from lots of ranged attacks. Except Junkrat

I’m also seeing that Roadhog and Reaper will get me up to High Diamond.

Do we have to do this again? Go be cringy somewhere else.

And it’s kind of ironic how much crap comes out of your mouth, seeing your qp hours yet you still being stuck in gold. Go ahead, Reaper and Road seem to be in your top 5 most played heroes, why are you still gold?

I’m just pointing out what is in your pictures, bud. :man_shrugging:

How is it “cringy” to point out something when you’re literally doing the same exact thing just with another hero?

And awesome usage of rankshaming, bro! I totally play Comp all the time and definitely don’t just do placements and then stop! You’re right! I absolutely love the toxicity that it fuels when someone is losing an argument or has a flaw pointed out, much like your own response btw, which is why I definitely play hundreds of hours every season! Wait, none of that’s true? It’s almost as if I DON’T play comp for those very specific reasons! :scream:

Amazing how you now portrait yourself as the victim.

“I absolutely love the toxicity that it fuels when someone is losing an argument or has a flaw pointed out”

Which flaw? Which argument? You didn’t point anything other than being a wanna be smart… trying to be funny by saying “huehue I will play reaper and roadhog and get to diamond lul”, like it would have ANY weight. There is nothing but to point out your rank my dude. You talk crap, you get crap. No need to try to be cheeky when you have no base to begin with. You have 27hrs on Doomfist and 5 on both Reaper and Roadhog. Shouldn’t you be diamond by now? Ah yes, you don’t have time. But enough time to talk crap around the forum thinking to be some bigshot memester. You admitted on being completely casual about comp yet you behave like you actually know, seeing as you doubt those Bricket player even existing. clap.

Good job btw. this time you weren’t as cringy with your response:

Btw. keep your reply, I’m done with wasting my time to someone as insignificant as you. Stay a hardstuck.

I finished last season with a 72% winrate on Pharah. Get gud with any hero and you can make it happen :man_shrugging:

Good luck. I actually like that people are using Brigitte to try to climb because putting a lot of time into her is the best way I think in this game to learn good positioning, which is something many people don’t worry about at mid-range SR or know that they’re bad at. I think it’s much more important with her than with any other hero.

People think it’s playing an “easy” hero that ranked them up, but it’s really probably that they just learned a new skillset they didn’t know they needed. Sometimes that’s all you need to rank up.

You mean when I made a sarcastic comment and you take the notch and bring it to 11, so I jump the sarcasm up to 20? Totally the victim here.

The flaw that you just posted a bunch of pictures with Hero times and rank, and YOU tried to make the point that Brig was the only reason why they got to masters. So I made the point that they got to Diamond using only THOSE two Heroes. Are you saying that only YOU are allowed to make that argument with Brig only because you don’t like her and think she’s OP, and thus that means that if anyone does the same thing with other heroes, they’re immediately wrong EVEN THOUGH THEY"RE MAKING THE SAME EXACT ARGUMENT AS YOU? See how hypocritical that is?

How did I “talk crap” by being sarcastic? :joy:

You literally missed EVERY BIT OF SARCASM in my post because THAT WAS THE POINT YOU NITWIT. Playing a single character WON’T GET YOU TO HIGH RANKS. That’s THE POINT. Let me spell it out. That’s T H E P O I N T.

facepalm.exe

Because someone who is casual in a game knows literally nothing about the game.

It’s always great seeing another comment from before in a different comment chain. Glad you were stupid enough to miss every bit of sarcsasm in every post I’ve ever made. I’ll stay “hardstuck” for as long as I like, because playing with trash like you just makes this game die every day.

You literally missed the point where he jumped from 3400 to 4200 and had 99% time on Brigitte.

Your sarcasm sucks btw. iS thErE a PokEmaRkT OuChIe
Guess I didn’t watch enough Rick and Morty to understand the depth in your reply and the subtle but smart sarcasm. The subtle and smart sarcasm of a 13 year old.

“Playing a single character WON’T GET YOU TO HIGH RANKS. That’s THE POINT. Let me spell it out. That’s T H E P O I N T.”

You definitely were dropped as a baby seeing that you definitely didn’t give any crap about his 700sr jump by playing 99% only Bricket in a season. Incredible. As incredible as you turning up your sarcasm slider to contest my sarcasm, which I didn’t even make use of.

the biggest problem for me when i play brigitte is my co healer… when he doesnt heal reliable i have to play more aggressive than i want to just to push out some healing so my team doesnt die because the ana cant hit her shots.
often time i switch then…

pretty much every brig one trick i look into is somehow 500+ sr from they were prior to maining brig
