Brigitte is the best character in any video game or tv show ever.
Except for Snarf and Orko.
Can Blizzard buy the rights to have those 2 put in the game also?

I think Moira was always fine.
Brigitte doesn’t even belong in Overwatch tbh. Moira is fine since she can be easily countered by many other heroes.

So you suspect that diamond and above will be more than 15% of the player base some day? Because after 2 years the percentages of players by rank haven’t really changed…
Ppl will learn to deal with her as well assuming she won’t get nerfed until that happens.
Also considering they are testing only internally, there is no way to know how the rest of the would react on her and play her.
Also I have the impression that they play the game way differently than how most ppl do (and it is expected since they are the ones who designed the heroes and know more about them and how should be used)
Honestly, bridgette makes no sense whatsoever. Like I can’t play any tanks w/ shields because some absurd reason she can stun lock them right through it.

Tracer never had a dominant impact for majority of player base. Genji wasn’t dominant even when played by the top 1% players.
Game balance and viable team compositions were much healthier and varied before Brigitte. Pick rates of dps were more evenly distributed than now. Pick rates of tanks were more evenly distributed than now. Pick rates of supports were more evenly distributed than now.

They could make her bullets ignore armor for instance. Would go well with her hacking theme as well.
A hacked brigitte die very quickly as soon as more than 1 people focus her, too. She’s a sitting duck once her abilities are removed.
I’m not lacking in imagination. However, I know that either she’ll be OP, or she’ll be useless. In this meta, a hero with the core design of sombra has no chance.
There’s always a middle ground.
I would argue that the core design of Sombra has a chance in any meta. That is, if we accept that doing damage is not the only way to provide value to the team, and that coordination can happen in a team.
The current meta heavily favors Rein and Brigitte for instance. Both heroes are almost useless once hacked.
I mean, it just takes a coordinated hack-shield-then-focus-fire to guarantee a pick on any enemy that was hiding behind the shield.

Brigitte is far easier to counter than people think. People have started to figure that out in the past few weeks, so I think this thread is a bit late.
Shoot her shield. Seriously, just do it. Don’t wait for the dps to break it. You shoot it, too. It’s easy to hit, it only has 600hp, and she can’t do much without it. It eliminates any advantage she has at positioning herself.

I even play lucio sometimes and almost never have a problem with brig, though I did for the first… three matches it took me to learn the new character? You can just… not be in the two inches she has to stun you. It’s the same concept as mccree, junk, etc. that have been in the game since release.
Complaining about brig means they’re just lazy and not good enough to click on one of the easiest characters to kill in the game. Mathematically she has barely more self-heal than ana.
The abilities are annoying for tanks, sure, one crowd in particular blizz needs to not annoy, but if they die to brig as tracer/genji they just need to stop playing those characters.

The only thing killing this game right now is people that aren’t doing the same thing to Brig. Just learn to play around her. Trust me, if there are players out there that know how to shut down Brig, then you have no excuse for doing it as well. You have plenty of options and guess what.
Even though you believe she “counters 94% of the roster”, she actually has more counters than the heroes she actually counters (see: Tracer and Genji). Time to stop using Blizzard’s balancing practices as a crutch and finally learn how to deal with Brig. This isn’t a balance issue, man.

You just said it yourself. Only dominant under masters. She’s not OP, she’s a skill check hero. Similar to Bastion or Sym or Pharah. One of those heroes you have to accept isn’t OP and just figure out how the rest of us deal with it.
Sure those burst combos work great in deathmatch. In the context of an actual game I dare you to find a Brigitte that can actually get any medals in elims or damage consistently. She’s not the murder machine everyone claims her to be unless you’re one of a few heroes with no mobility AND low dps and you run into her in a tight, tight hallway. So essentially if you’re a support.
I’m not denying her being annoying. Because she is. And she definitely shook things up and changed the way people approach playing the game. But if you stay close to your tank/team, Brigitte isn’t going to be anything more than an annoyance who occasionally stuns you or boops you away.

Take Junkrat off of your list of Brigitte counters, he’s bad against a deathball.
He’s still a counter to Brig though, deathball or not. He can really **** her up with splash damage. He stays on the list. Brig will not win that matchup unless the Junkrat is bronze and lets her approach him for free.

She’s not that bad. I’ve killed her with Bastion, Pharah, Reaper, Widow, Herself, Sombra, Orisa and Symmetra. Watched her get killed by Roadhogs, Lucios, Soldiers, Zaryas, Winstons, Moira’s and Zenyattas.
It’s called skill. She has to drop her shield to use many of her abilities, and her shield goes down.

She is frustrating to play against, and countering her is not as conventional as it has been previously. But I agree, she is not OP or broken.
People just refuse to adapt and refuse to acknowledge her weakness. It’s either worth nothing, or just a fun coincidence that many of the people complaining about her in a very dramatic manner main the heroes that Brigitte counters.
There are some interactions I would put in place just for fluidity purposes, such as not being able to shield-bash Reinhardt mid-charge or while he has shield up.
But other than that, I think she’s fine. She has her weaknesses. She’s an easy pick 2v1 with little means to defend herself against it as other heroes do.
