Both teams would have to join forces against the raid boss.
. I think I forget about a lot of what she had then.
Brig is OK. She was better when people were confused not knowing where she was at in strength and people were testing the matchup. I can’t run her against poke.
Sojourn can poke.
They overreacted to JOATs and nerfed her when she wasn’t the problem.
TBH I feel safer as Ana or even Zen than on Briggite. At least with those I have a chance to kill the attacker before they kill me.
For a character with a shield, she feels ridiculously squishy,
I would like some damage buffs for her. Since she has the shortest range of all heroes damage wise.
More overall damage (more melee swing damage)
Whipshot do more damage/ or shorter cd on landing it.
Shield bash maybe having a slight disorient debuff that lets enemies take like 50% more damage for like 3 seconds.
Is Coal really that bad though? Rally isn’t giving armor anymore, so even with Rally + Inspire + Repair Pack heal stacking, Coal still out-does Rally in sustain by quite a lot. It feels like Coal comes up a bit quicker as well since Moira’s heals are a lot more concentrated and her ult poke is better with damage orb. Coal definitely isn’t nano or rush but idt it’s bad at all
You really can’t argue that window is a bad ult… Can you? Not only is it the best damage amp in the game but it also comes up really fast and the only real counterplay to it is to LoS it or EMP it.
I prefer the old version that could keep Genji away and kill confirmed. Now he can kill 1 mate and get away, it’s even worst if he get support from Zarya lol.
She’s decent. I think she needs some more tuning though and here’s some of my ideas
inspire procs more often and heals more but has a shorter duration and range,
bring back the experimental change where inspire reduced cooldowns but make it where whipshot reduces the cooldown of repair pack and the normal attack reduced the cooldown of shield bash
Change whipshot to make it like more like bastions thing so she has a flail mode and a whipshot mode
give her ult the ability to grant 30% damage reduction while inside and probably give some other buffs
Coal also requires that allies all stand in a straight line.
What makes rally good is that it gives brig a constant 45HPS and movementspeed. It makes her and her allies semitanks assuming that you can stack the armor (which only takes ~3 seconds).
It is an incredibly powerful ultimate even without the armor.
Whipshotting the ground should propel Brig upward.
plz do not use top 500 as a barometer of sucess. they are quite frankly terrible and lose to sombra spamming hack in a real game playing frontline which is just sad. brig is actually the strongest support after her father reinhardt because for whatever reason she actually is his daughter and think about it. now how to play her. you cant lmao. she has no team to play with cuz people dont actually get that she is a drain tank, and never back up. kinda reminds of call of duty deathmatch except thats what people in the universe want for 1218 , this innocent backwater planet heheheh
Is that really so? I could’ve sworn you could primary him through it. Kind of a weird interaction.
I think bubbles could ignore the damage or possibly KB of Whipshot, but I think that at the very least if Whipshot hits someone bubbled it should proc Inspire.
I still think that Brig is fine right now and people’s issues are largely because of playstyle problems rather than her kit being poor. Brig was designed initially as an anti flank Hero and no longer fulfills that role. Instead you now have to treat her like you’d play a Mercy.
Meaning you hug corners and walls next to another hero. You poke with whip shot to have inspire up as much as possible. Her shield primarily exists as a way to peek angles safely and behaves as a movement tool secondarily.
I can understand Brig feeling underwhelming since the way you’re supposed to play her isn’t exactly fun. She probably would benefit from a full kit rework if this current design isn’t enjoyable enough.
It’s because brig isn’t a flank counter anymore she can kinda still beat on them, but she’s still extremely squishy and doesn’t have a stun anymore.
I can’t confirm, but I think you can hit him due to the angle that her flail hits at. Almost comes from the side. I could also be making this up.
Shes a lot less valuable in ow2
No more armor from ult
No more stun to ward off flankerwatch and cancel ults like Moira/Hog
1 less tank you can help out/save by being a mini-tank for 1 or 2 seconds in their place
still love this idea. To add to this, zen should be able to kick the ground to push himself upwards.
This is not at all how brig is meant to be played.
Brig is a warden, you exist to take up space in a fight, soak pressure, and waste time. Whipshot stops engagements (wastes time) and slows down enemies from approaching. All of your abilities control space, and if the right situation presents itself, jumping onto an enemy support is a fantastic way to create pressure. With rally you take a lot of pressure off your team especially if the enemy has oneshot-snipers who may no longer be able to kill you. Additionally, you relieve pressure with the space you provide.
Hell yeah. I can’t remember who came up with either of those originally, but I plan to do the Brig one in a workshop eventually. Also going to rework inspire and allow WS kills to reset SB. Was also going to rework rally to provide attack speed and CD reduction but Kiriko took that so back to the drawing board. ![]()
- Reduce the inspire range to 5m.
- Increase her health to 250.
- Increase her shield to 350.
- Let whip go through shield.
- Let Brig drop her repair pack like Torb used to. Dropped repair pack give 50 armor temporary. Repair pack can be seen by enemies and can be destroyed.
- Rework her ult.
