Brig 1 trick dominating the leader boards.

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. This is what I said…. “With the hp changes brig will be the best peel support in the game”

…… mercy/lucio/kiri just fade in comparison now.

Like for the most part the best counter peel supports heros are the mobility support heros…. Those are the heros that can help hero’s like Ana when she’s dove……except for the one hero that is built like a tank.

Brig is going to be op until she’s brought in line with Lucio mercy and kiri

OP there was also a Hog one trick at rank 2. Thoughts on Hog balance?

Interesting hog is taking rank 2? Did they have any other playtime on other hero’s….

With how counter swappy ow is…. It’s alarming to see any top 500 leaderboard with someone who hasn’t even played a second of another hero.

That is my take on that…

I mean think about how much counter swapping happens…. If you can ride any 1 hero up to top 100 that’s a huge flag

Maybe it’s Cyx? He’s always been a top Hog main.

Yea it was Cyx. Zbra had rank 1 on Doom only and Cyx rank 2 with Hog only. I don’t put too much stock in which heroes are in the Top 10-50

It’s really not. There were always 1 tricks in top 500, it’s not a brand new development. Some people are specialists and can make their heroes work against counter swaps.

Is it mace2theface? The brig one trick that’s always in t500 even when brig is trash awful?

Now that brig juno has been meta why is this surprising

Where are all the Juno 1 tricks?

We had this same situation when pharah was op and ynza was rank 1 and 3

You do realize you would’ve had either play Juno only even if you weren’t a Juno player and probably troll high ranked matches which is probably the case because before s12 there were no Juno players, or make a new account to grind Juno only. Except new accounts now need 750 comp wins to qualify for t500 so those one trick accounts wouldn’t even show up on the leaderboards

Juno doesn’t have established one tricks like older heroes do that’s just how it goes with new heroes it’s kinda rare

She has been in that position long before the health changes. She was like that in ow1 too when they gave her the multiple repair packs.

Ya you’re right. Mace to the face is way better mechanically then any ow pro… or ml7 or anyone that put hundreds of hrs into juno before she was nerfed.

Mace to the face must be a mechanical god.

I had no idea he was by far the most talented ow player

I literally didn’t mention mechanics, I’m talking about playtime on the hero. One tricks can one trick at high ranks because they understand all the matchups their hero has. That takes time. Juno hasn’t been out nearly as long as brig. That’s my point.

New heroes just have fewer t500 one tricks because they haven’t been around as long

Also ranked is about playtime in general. A lot of pros could one trick many heroes to rank 1, but they’re busy scrimming or doing other things instead

Mace is a streamer and a brig one trick in a season where brig is meta. Ml7 doesn’t one trick, and afaik if he does one trick it’s on a new account (to avoid trolling t100 lobbies), which wouldn’t even show up on the leaderboards

That’s literally her entire existence. She’s supposed to be the best peel support in the game. I’m really not sure what you’re trying to say with this thread.

I’m confused your saying the hero is incredibly good thus the best player at the hero rises to the top while also trying to argue the hero isn’t op.

It’s one thing if you play a hero %75 of the time and have to counter swap sometimes…. Compared to just winning for playing the hero.

This means you cannot even be countered or be bothered to swap….

Mace2theface is skilled no doubt but I do not believe they are the best ow player. The fact that he is both rank 1&3 shows he’s not even getting lucky

He’s literally winning games by just selecting brig at peak game play?!??

Not to mention everyone else around his rank is camping SR at 50 games and not playing….

So let me understand this, you are crying on the forums because the Number 1 Brig in NA has 2 slots on the leaderboard, while the rest is all Juno?

And somehow, because of it, you want to level Brig to a garbage throw-pick state, like Mercy?

I’m saying he has an above average winrate on the hero even when she’s bad so now that she’s good in the meta it seems very reasonable that he’s at the top. How does that make the hero op?

A hero that’s currently strong sees one of its best ranked grinders at the top of the leaderboards. Duh?

The meta is very favorable to her. Juno has a higher pickrate and winrate than brig at least as far as overbuff is concerned but we’re saying brig is the problem? Seriously?

Brigitte continues to be the definition of a meta dependent hero. Depending on what heroes see play she goes in and out of the meta.

It’s like people that want sigma nerfed because he was good s6-8 ish. And yet he’s barely seen changes and is no longer really seeing play because the meta changes around him so he’s not as good.

If you don’t want to see brig change the meta. I guess you can, every couple of months that brig becomes good, nuke her, then when she’s bad, giga buff her again. But that just seems silly.

If you can get rank 1, you can get rank 2 and 3 as well. The problem is allowing someone to have multiple accounts in top 500, not Brig.
