I mean, honestly his boop is pretty annoying though. And don’t people complain about the Reddit Lucio playstyle because pretty much nobody is Frogger?
This is every single Ana in 5v5. You are just such a boring old sheep.
Illari - if they complain it’s not about her being OP
Lucio - complain that he is DPS and not doing healing but not about being OP
Don’t hear much about Zen these days, nor about Kiri actually (a lot less than we used to).
Most complaints are around Mercy and Ana at the moment.
I hate displacement. That being said, I am Blue Shell. Once I find my target, they do not escape.
Most Lucio complaints are from teammates that don’t understand how he’s supposed to be played rather than the standard muh no skill no fair bad design forum posts
And there’s about 562 things more annoying than boop in this game

I don’t trust the average forum chud definition of Reddit Lucio considering they think speed boost/dueling dps= frogger

I know someone who constantly complains about the mere fact that her pylon exists at all. Like, people definitely complain about her even though she isn’t good.
Not about being OP per se, but people do complain about him. Specifically about the Reddit lucio playstyle. But also I personally find his boop to be annoying, so I complain about that.
I still hear tanks complain about him. I just think it’s quiet because people realize that discord is as nerfed as it’s going to get so they don’t bother anymore.
Less than we used to, but people still complain about her. There was an anti-kiri thread earlier in the week.
And Ana I get. She’s very strong and has a high pick rate. At least she got nerfed this patch. Mercy is meh at best and I seriously do not understand the complaints against her.

That’s what people complain about yes, but it’s silly because by the numbers Mercy doesn’t win games. Mercy is a very neutral pick. Having a Mercy isn’t going to necessarily cost you the game, but she isn’t going to win it for you either. Ana on the other hand is a must pick in many situations.
What people don’t understand is that any nerf to Mercy would require a buff. She’s not overperforming and in fact is slightly underperforming. But people would lose their minds if she got a buff that actually offset any of those nerfs.
5v5 is a boring old sheep.

Try playing plat or below. Mercys win games by not dying and getting off way too many rezzes on the tank. Many games are won by mercy even if people don’t realise that’s why they won (or lost on the other team - I think the losing team realises mercy was the problem more than the team with the mercy).
One of the easiest combos to win with at lower ranks is queen+mercy if the mercy will pocket. Queen never dies as long as the mercy (or weaver for that matter) is alive.
