Playoff Implications for this Match

  • If Boston Uprising loses this match, they will be eliminated from Stage 2 Playoff contention
  • Los Angeles Gladiators can win this match to improve their chances to clinch division and 1st place overall if other teams lose upcoming matches.

Time to get this thread rolling.

thankfully the matchups today are better than yesterdays…that was rough to watch

I’m gonna have to disagree with that. Granted any given match can wind up being an upset/surprise/close but all of the matches today look one sided and it’s not exactly fun watching one team spawn camp the other team.

Nothing’s going right today…I just found out only 3 students passed the Calculus class out of 16 enrolled (1 C, 2 D’s), which means my professor will have to find a way to pass 7 more students or the professor will get fired (per university policy)…2 boys down the street almost killed me with their rigged tire…and it seems as though everyone that was in my classes is planning on drowning their sorrows with alcohol…

Let’s hope the matches are good today…or at least, let’s hope I can get some good news…

*Edited to follow forum Code of Conduct twice

Wait why does a professor get fired if the students underperform?

Arena25, I am very sorry things are not going well. However please understand that I take comments like your last sentence very seriously. I understand the stress and turmoil of college life (I am a student myself who is just now getting started with a new school after my previous shut down two months ago). That being said, I do not hesitate to flag posts under the “Real Life Threat” flag and directly alert Blizzard if I feel there is serious threat of self-harm. I don’t think you are completely serious, but I would like a confirmation that you are not serious about your last sentence.

Edited to follow forum Code of Conduct…still, it’s been one of THOSE semesters…

But you are alright yes? That is what I am most concerned about.

Go watch “Drink In My Hand” by Eric Church…pretty much describes everyone on campus at the moment…

And yes, just depressed as hell…

Anyway, nice to see that the Titans are still undefeated…both in OW and in the world of Laser Tag…

If Gladiators are 2-0 at Halftime, Boston wins…

You can’t count the kings of Reverse Sweep out.

Anyway, to your question…

I don’t really know, I’m not the person who wrote the policy. All I know is that if a minimum number of students don’t pass a class (think the number is 10 for undergraduate classes and 5 or 6 for graduate classes), then the professor can be subject to discipline, up to and including termination.

Didn’t we get actually swept our last 2 matches? I’m starting to count us out.

good evening all, big match for Shanghai later

Well, the last one was Vancouver Titans… Honestly, anyone that isn’t SFS or NYXL would just get swept there.

But I agree they could have done better against London Spitfire.

If there’s one thing to look forward to with the matches today, I believe every single one has playoff implications so hopefully the playoff picture will be a bit clearer after tonight.

Anybody else having some audio issues with the stream? The audio quality is…off…

Audio is fine on my end.

i have a couple of liters of coffee ready and a lap ferret ready to watch todays games.

my money is on Boston, just because i like the underdogs in most games.
