Just as a heads up, the scoring for East Region Day 1 have yet to confirm the scores from this morning’s matches, so the leaderboard is out of date.
its nice to see some fresh new faces on the casting deck. ive been waiting to see vikki
My money’s on the Chattanooga woodhuggers to take home the big cup
I always forget that Vikki comes from the FGC.
One of my people.
Looks like Vikki and Jaws are coming up later and we got Uber and Mr. X this match.
Yeah, Jaws did a companion stream for the games yesterday. He talked about how every duo would get a couple of games at least in the other regions. He was excited that he got a good one with Shock vs Mayhem.
Boston is playing Doom/Sigma.
Somewhere, McGravy is tearing his hair out.
Boston get an early lead, but then commit a Charlie Niner and now we are all knotted up at 1 apiece heading into the second half.
AFTER MAP 2
Ilios (Control): Boston Uprising 2, London Spitfire 1
Temple of Anubis (Assault): London Spitfire 2, Boston Uprising 1
MATCH SCORE: London Spitfire 1, Boston Uprising 1
NEXT UP: The second half of Uprising vs. Spitfire, starting with Hybrid before moving on to Escort.
This is turning into back-and-forth foot stomps. Map 5 on the way, boys and girls!
AFTER MAP 4
Ilios (Control): Boston Uprising 2, London Spitfire 1
Temple of Anubis (Assault): London Spitfire 2, Boston Uprising 1
Blizzard World (Hybrid): Boston Uprising 3, London Spitfire 2
Dorado (Escort): London Spitfire 1, Boston Uprising 0
MATCH SCORE: Boston Uprising 2, London Spitfire 2
NEXT UP: OVERTIME! A Control map tiebreaker will be played. As there are no ties in Control, whoever wins this map takes the series. May the best team win.
My 3-2 Boston pred will either be hyper brained or a fatal booming.
I correctly predicted which bad team would be less bad.
EZ 6 points.
Thank goodness. With this being a double-point match on Pick’em. I would have been so mad if Boston junked that.

Soooooo… the Junkrat Rip Tire cam clipping though the walls and being able to see over them was pretty cheese… That should be on the bug fix list.
Yeah, it being caught on camera is going to bring more attention to it. That could be enough to see some sort of patch.
And it goes all the way to a mammoth final fight! The Boston Uprising send the London Spitfire packing!
FINAL
Ilios (Control): Boston Uprising 2, London Spitfire 1.
Temple of Anubis (Assault): London Spitfire 2, Boston Uprising 1.

Dorado (Escort): London Spitfire 1, Boston Uprising 0.
Lijiang Tower (Control Tiebreaker): Boston Uprising 2, London Spitfire 1.
FINAL SCORE: Boston Uprising 3, London Spitfire 2
BOSTON UPRISING WINS!
Alas for the Boston Uprising, they are still eliminated from the May Melee…however, they also manage to eliminate the London Spitfire.
I am also sure we’re going to see a ton of angry forum posts regarding this match, ESPECIALLY that Junkrat Rip Tire cam clip that Krojack is referring to.
Agreed, I would rule that an exploit and unfair advantage (sighting the enemy team through terrain).
This should also be ruled as a violation of the Overwatch League Code-of-Conduct as well.
Note, I don’t believe the Oasis door frame glitch (which is now patched on the PTR) is an exploit as it was simply a map terrain issue.
Because it allows you to see where the enemy team is though walls in a way that isn’t intended?
like 1% of the time…,.
besides, how useful is this really?
