With ranked being best of 5 you might as well just get rid of the redundant unranked mode then. Considering both modes are basically the same, the only reason to play that mode now is cuz it’s cross platform. People don’t like it cuz it doesn’t feel like a competitive mode anymore. They’re always longer and have more rounds. Now it just feels like there’s 2 exact same modes other than 1 is cross platform and has backfill and the other has drafts and gives comp points. Gameplay and everything is exactly the same.
I mean I’m not the biggest fan of stadium anyways but this best of 5 “ranked” thing just puts me off it even more. And if people want faster stadium games then they can just play the unranked mode. We knew the mode was supposed to be longer before we even got it
