Not really, but I won’t waste your time too much. The tldr is that Valk cover much more skill deficiencies than any other ultimates do, so much so it hurts Mercy’s gameplay overall, regardless of how powerful of an ability it might be.

So you know how the res counter will continue to go up as teammates die? If Mercy were to cast before the counter goes up, it would only calculate a cast time for a single teammate dead, but could potentially res all targets as the res counter goes up during the cast time.

They complain about the slow typically. I haven’t heard nearly as much complaints about the cast timer itself. It’s the slow.
This rework idea does not include a slow while she resses, making it feel much more fluid.
If they reworked Mercy again before reworking Bastion there’d be another Omnic Crisis.

Doubtful, given that Bastion’s player base is still dwarfed by Mercy’s.
I see what you mean. One way would be to simply lock in that number as she resses. As in, whatever number it’s at, when you press Q, said number is registered and that value is given to her in the form of cast time. I would imagine that the devs could come up with a clever way to represent this without completely botching it (The old 1.0 version seemed to work quite well, I can only think that they would simply have to add onto it and making it more redundant to avoid outputting the wrong cast time). Though personally, if someone is able to come up with a better solution for a dynamic cast, I’m all ears.
EDIT: Also added a version without dynamic cast time in the OP, for those who would prefer a fixed number instead. To be fair, you guys made great points on how a dynamic cast may be a bit more risky, so I went ahead and bumped up damage reduction to 40% for that version, and left the fixed cast time one at 30%.

I don’t know if you read the post, but the proposed ult is worse than Mass Rez in every way you could want it to be.
And it’s not like there arent’ coutners, and DPS ults don’t make support ults useless.
