TF2 has not not been on console since 360
Also for how old TF2 is, 120k players is a lot.
And people spend thousands on that game opening cases etc, it surprisingly makes a lot of money for Valve, when they show Steam best sellers of the year TF2 is always up there because of the MTX
TF2 is a very outdated game and there are plenty of free to play alternatives now, but people still continue to stick to that game.
Oh and the playerbase increased a ton since the Bots too
imagine that 20k of them were the bots, that would mean there was only 50k people but now it’s doing like 110k+ without the bots, that’s insane.
