Blizzard should really define better the Tank/Support roles

Because most of the tanks and supports below master play their roles with a DPS mindset.
Moiras trying to hunt down the enemy instead of healing, using ults just to do damage instead of healing, and never using the yellow orb.
Anas basically shooting at every enemy they see instead of healing.
Reins swinging their hammers alone, in the middle of the enemy team.
Brigs just swinging in the frontline without care of their backlines with flankers around.
The game rewards the DPS mindset, with most of the medals being DPS-oriented and POTGs, instead of focusing on team play. This is why every single tilted player just swaps to DPS.
(PS: for all the supports and tanks out there, just try to stay in the boundaries of your role pls!)

Removing the ability of supports or tanks to defend themselfves as there is now would lead to nobody playing them anymore as in low rank nobody likes to depend on their DPS to protect them

“Trying to defend yourself” is one thing, ignoring your team who need heals to do that little damage you do with your abilities, is another.

What about all the DPS I see trying to tank dmg from the whole enemy team while the rest if us is walking out of spawn?
THis mentality problem is a community wide problem. Also it could very well be that most of the misbehaving tanks and sups you are observing are DPS players that filled. No way of telling thanks to hidden profiles.
