Blizzard should copy tf2 mann vs machine mode

Make it 5 or 6 people to fight against waves of omnics with upgrades every wave.
Have different kind of omnics, small ,big , specials and give some rewards when you complete a hard mission ( be it white coins, gold or dare i say…xp multiplier on bp :scream: )

It’s not hard and it will be fun.

I love this idea, but you will also get people get toxic over other players for not picking meta characters.

they can release heroes like in stadium. start with a solid base of 10 heroes then balance the rest and release over time. builds hype and all that.

If Torb were added, he probably became a must pick like TF2 Engy.

You might enjoy “zombie survival missions modded” in the custom games if you haven’t tried it.
It is a 6 player pve with different kinds of objectives with power ups you can pick up and different difficulty settings.
You just have to keep moving or you perish XD

The devs could easily create an official mode like it, with their nullsector assets.

They hate fun. They are actively sabotaging their product.

with his tiny sentry? i doubt it. unless he gets an upgrade to lvl 3 or smth.

I really don’t get why blizzard never considered a hoarde mode for pve instead of everything being objectives. If you played the 1 “hero mission” they put out you’d see it was delusional that they thought they’d make hundreds, but something like zombies or mvm they could

My guess is they had a lot of success and positive reception from the archives events and rolled with it, and eventually hit a point of sunk cost fallacy.

That said, it does surprise me a bit that they eventually rolled a lot of that work into stadium than a PvE mode like MvM.

Still strange that they never thought to do something like mvm. I mean the original devs took some inspiration from tf2 , pharah and torb for example.
Such a missed opportunity.

Should they also copy the part where you have to pay $1 every time you want to play for rewards?

And the 12 years with no new content?

Overwatch vs null sector would be fun, especially if they use a lot of the upgrades from stadium

Junkenstien’s revenge proves a horde mode works. They could just drop the horde mode wit hall the PVE enemies they made to date (the Archives ones, the OW2 PVE ones, JR’s ones) and the mode would be a hit over night.

Tie some rewards points to it, maybe add upgrades OR buyable weapons like in Black Ops Zombies, and that’d really expand the mode.

I’m fine, as long as the money’s worth it. You’re basically paying money for guaranteed items. I got a spycicle on my first Mann Up mode completion and from then I saw the vision. You see, I’m willing to pay if I think its worth it; I actually bought two battle OW2 battle passes because I completed them and like what was in them. But it has to be worth it.

Also, MVM has a free mode, and I assume OW2’s MVM copy would have a free mode.

Integrating Stadium into it could be interesting

with it’s powers and stuff, similarly to the MvM store

They won’t. A mount in World of Warcraft sold better than Starcratf 2 and now Kiriko skins are doing the same, so why bother with a big PvE mode? We can’t even get Archives modes back and you want something new?

It’s hard and time-consuming enough to not be worth it when you can recolor an OW1 skin for much less.

Btw they plan to make an update so that streak will be broken soon

Well, they plan on having the community make an update for them.

Hilarious that people will pay to play on community maps, but at least the creators will (presumably) get some sort of cut.

As long as they fix some old bugs with the upgrades i’ll say it’s worth it.

They could have characters in cool skins playing fun caricatures of themselves. Like maybe make Junkrat some kind of mad scientist.

Oh if only I would cheer and enjoy playing this But sadly Fools deny and hate PVE

But all in all Machine mode would be lovely way to enjoy game.
