Could y’all please either add in an opt-out feature or at least let us see who endorsed us?
What would either of those options bring to the table?
The endorsement feature is pretty bad… people just give them out regardless of toxicity for the bonus exp, pretty much at random.
Endorsements are sort of a vaccine like fix, looking to keep toxic like actions in check to some degree. It doesn’t mater if they get handed out like free candy being over time the more positive players will slowly gain more over a person just getting them randomly.
It’s meant to be an all carrot, no stick sort of move. Like I have yet to see a player with 3-4 who was a total jerk in game. I’ve not even seen a 2 who was ranting at their team or calling people names etc. I’m sure it will happen but at least so far it kind of working.
I think the real issue with them is what happens 3+ months from now as a new player or returning player from a break might be at 1 and seen as less than and filtered out of LFG. Even when the only reason they are at 1 is due to play time.
