Blizzard is getting sued for discrimination

That’s what I said.

Brig VA’s were harassed by toxic gamers that hated the character.

You would think that Blizzard’s employees, which you expected to have a high professional standards, to not sink down to that level.

Apparently, I was wrong. In fact, it is actually WORSE.

What disgusting creatures…

Can’t wait for Blizzard to tell me yet again about how they believe in diversity and inclusiveness.

You know… Jeff was always one to speak for human rights and equality, all that good stuff. Wonder if he left because he knew all this was gonna come up and didn’t wanna have his name next to… this disaster. He was probably disgusted by it.

Did Chris Mentzen cast a curse on this company or something? They’re in flames, Christ.

That’s honestly what I’m thinking about most that left within the last 2 years.

We should try to support the women struggling in a toxic culture, not try to tear down a company imo.

I hope blizzard does a better job of making women feel welcome at their company in the future regardless of how guilty they are or aren’t of the current charges.

No the fact that the state of california is swinging this bat is just. proof in the pudding. They likely have such a mountain of evidence that this is going to be enormous. after reading the 29 page lawsuit.

If you though our participation in the oppression of Hong Kong was repugnant…

If you were appalled by our inability to call a pride flag a pride flag…

Get ready for this summer, where we bring you Wolf of Wall Street for Programmers.

We actually had someone die, but don’t worry, we have a hotline now. That will fix everything.

Nah they deserved to be dragged through the mud for this. That’s proper karma for how boastful they were about how woke they claimed to be.

Please read the case prior to saying anything. The relief asked for includes reinstatement where desired/appropriate but people have to literally change and excise the individuals responsible for some of this.

Historically, OW removed things based on “allegation”. So i wonder if they gonna remove “Blizzard World” map or offer refund to anyone who wants to stop using Blizzard’s products.

Can you refer to me some articles about this case prior to this one from the 2-year span?

This makes me feel sick I never expected this at Blizzard

if you look through the ‘blizzard’ tag on twitter you’ll find some ex-employees that talk about their specific allegations. As the case unfolds we may learn more. You have to recall that these people might not have wanted further retaliation as they would have needed to maintain an image in the industry itself. A bad review from blizzard could have spelled peoples death bells for their career.

But. Rest assured. The government wouldn’t have done this if they weren’t 100% certain in their case here.

This is probably the real reason so many old guard left the company too. Nothing was being done about this.
