All they said was you could do challenges to unlock the new hero, some one alluded to winning like 20 matches as support to unlock kriko next season, if that’s the case that’s pretty reasonable imo
I can misinterpret it, but the news says this, i qoute:
There will be ways to earn past heroes in future seasons, so everyone will have the opportunity to earn heroes by playing! Heroes from past seasons will return in new hero challenges, or you can acquire them in the shop with Overwatch Coins.
Not as much as the 3D ones I’m sure lol.
Hard to say. I interpreted that as season 1 having no hero challenges because Kiriko is the first premium hero. So next season there will be “new” hero challenges specific to certain heroes that will eventually give you that hero as a reward. Like a quest chain
The blog post lists weekly challenges as the only method to obtain free overwatch coins, so doubtful.
And some posters on here are excited for this? Grinding a full week of your life for 60 cents? People would be better off recycling some cans if they are that desperate for pennies. It’s embarrassing at this point.

Yeah most ppl should prolly just pay 10 dollars since you can make an average of 15 an hour now, but ppl are cheap so let them grind I guess lol
That’s one thing we agree on. If I supported the BP model I’d just buy the silly thing for $10.

Ppl don’t understand how much more valuable time is, which is why I don’t mind paying for thing I enjoy, but you def should not put hours and hours into something to try to reap rewards, it should ultimately be about having fun. Idc what kind of fomo things companies do, I’ve never fallen for it. I play valorant and don’t spend a dime cause I’m not that invested

Fair point, but blizzard is US based so they are just following that cost structure, for most ppl 10 dollars is a freakin hamburger in the US now lmao

it’s sad people thought OW2 BP is worth more than other games BP just because they have mythic skin that what ? change color and apperance ? fortnite already got those kind of skins and they only charge 8$ while giving back more than enough currency to buy battlepass or something from item shop

That’s the thing. The skins they’ve shown in the BP are absolutely top tier to me, but I don’t think it is a situation some people think where it should be premium currency or currency. Other games have shown they can do both.
