We already have Orisa, Cherrelle Skeete did a wonderful job, and I think people should stop ignoring her work, and give her the respect she deserves.

It’s just the other way around, it’s still the same. You just choose to judge her on how she looks instead of looking at who she is as a character.

Even her robot skin is heavily influenced by African culture.
Orisa is not a black woman or girl at all. She’s an AI created by a black girl that isn’t in the game… I understand she sounds black and was created by a black girl, and represent African culture but the character itself is not black and its not a black woman for sure.
Also the conversation on black representation is usually mostly a visual one. Either its always, (gangsters, thugs, athletes, something with music, bad guys or wait for it…African) or its not represented at all or barely.
Overwatch some how manages to hit all the black stereotypes on the head…
Mc cree could have been black, 76, mercy, ana, pharah, genji and hanzo…

I would agree with you if she was like Bastion, just a robot, but she’s not. She has a character, she is a woman, and she is black. You can ignore that for whatever reason, but that doesn’t make you right.
We have seen in the lore that omnics have genders, relationships, and culture. You judging them on their skin colour doensn’t remove that from the lore.
Your inability to see beyond someones appearance could be a big issue in your personal life. I hope you can work on that, and become a better person.

I know where you are coming from.But we also have American soldier 76.Why is he a soldier?.Is it because America is a warmonger ?Idk. Maybe we should not read between the lines too much and be positive about things.
No clue, but I do know that he’s on the “good guy side” and in his story he sacrifices his self to save a young girl.
