Overwatch is immediately crashing for me on startup - after pressing play I get a black screen for a couple of seconds, and then the game closes without any error message.
I realize this is a very common problem, but I have tried every fix I can find to no avail. I’m hoping that my DxDiag can lead to a potential solution.
In addition to completing all of the steps in the Blizzard troubleshooting article, I’ve removed all Razer Synapse software and MS Visual C++ versions 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2017 (noted to be problematic in a gameinpost article). I’ve also tried reinstalling the launcher + game two times.
It was those pesky leftover Razer .dll files listed in the thread you linked. My game is launching again! I disabled Game Bar as well for good measure.
