Black female hero?

No, you know exactly what my point is. I’ve defended Orisa to death in past threads, so this is a pretty funny accusation.

We’re done here.

As long as you explain it respectfully, you won’t. Contrarian opinions don’t get you silenced, just your attitude or circumventing the bad words filter thingy.

So don’t tease and then leave us hanging!

You don’t… honestly expect someone with roughly 30 posts, who bothered to come to this forum relatively tonight for a stay, who usually just posts a bug report and then leaves - to have read ALL of your posts and understand who you are, do you? That’s… pretty selfish!

Yes you are, that is exactly what you’re trying to do.

No, i don’t expect you to. That’s why i gave you the necessary info to understand how silly your assumption is.

Btw, you really should read all my posts. You might learn something.

Doomfist has a cousin with a mechanical shoe…

Ana is Egyptian.

Symmetra is Indian.

That’s not a race tho
That’s just where they are from.
That’s like saying that i am the slovakian race, That’s not how it works.

These are the ethnic identifiers these characters would use to describe themselves.

Believe it or not, not all dark-skinned people are black.

Just like not all light-skinned people are white.

Mei is not white. She’s Han Chinese.

Genji is not white. He’s Japanese.

I’ve already given an overview of what black people are. If you want to start calling dark-skinned Native Americans “black people” and my light-skinned black managers at work “white people,” that is technically your right.

It’s wrong, but that’s your right.

A character that is not only a mistake lore wise but in no way history.

Sir if you don’t read what I said I don’t know why you intervene.
People’s expectation vs actual history is different.
If you say black cow boy I swear most “gamers” will only think of Django as a possibility.

I understand what people expect because I’m aware most people don’t know much about black American history. It was just a funny little thought.

How do you know?
Do you talk to them on a daily basis?
If you came up to me and you were blind and you asked me:
‘‘What is your race’’
I would look at the tone of my skin, Structure of my face, And tell them
‘‘I am white’’
Not,
‘‘I am slovak’’
I would expect the cahracters did the same, I Don’t expect you to tell me their Ethnic identifires, I just want to know what race you would call them.
For the est of the examples factial features (Asian eyes ect…) can be used to identify that they are asian.

You are literally doing just that

I’m not about to play games in this thread.

And i don’t want to beat around the bush.
Tell me their race, Not their ethnic Background, Not their country of origin.
RACE.

I already told you what their race is. Han Chinese and Japanese respectively.

A word can be both a racial categorization and a demonym.

If you want to believe there’s only three racial categorizations on this Earth (black, white, Asian) based solely on your own categorization of yourself, I literally can’t help you after that.

yeah yeah, i think you know what the reaction would be if you claimed that sym or ana are black in any other thread/context

if you don’t, you can look for the ‘is mccree hispanic?’ ones to get a little taste

I literally google how many races are there.
Look into my Workbook From 6th grade
I get 4.

I’m not claiming anything i just wanna know what race they are.
Like, If they are not black despite having a black skin tone, What race are they?
K, after some digging on google India is identified a caucasian…
Idk if that is Sym but imma trust uncle google.

My 6th grade science workbook said there’s only three states of matter.

Guess both of our workbooks was wrong.

Ana is Egyptian and Symmetra is Indian.

Honestly I think Overwatch, if we really have to base things on race, is fine.
