Big surprise hanzo still busted

My profile is public. :person_shrugging: Iā€™ve put in a lot of hours on him lately.

I donā€™t care if you believe me or not, but if you have nothing constructive to say about what I write and you try to go for weird digs (which are also inaccurate), then Iā€™m going to just dismiss anything and everything you.

To be fair

Widows scoped shot is loud, has a red tracer(so very noticeable), and feels threatening when she fires it.

Hanzos is rather quiet, not anywhere nesr as noticeable, and therefore doesnt feel anywhere close as threatening.

They tried that in 2016 for all projectile heroes. It caused bugs and problems with hit registration. Projectiles would fly through character models without connecting. The issue is t even Hanzos arrow hitbox. The issue is that the character hitboxes are bigger than their model.

That doesnā€™t happen.

Just drop his damage to 190 so he canā€™t one shot and be done with it. He was fine in OW1 with two tanks. He sucks all the fun from fights in OW2.

Being if the other team has a Hanzo on more open maps everyone else has to turtle behind a wall the whole match unless youā€™re a tank. It ruins the dynamic nature of the game. Being unlike the other possible one shotsā€™ish combos in game Hanzoā€™s just comes out of nowhere to log a person in the face. No cool down, no risk etc. All spam

EVERYTHING else has a counter play dance. You know hog wants the hook so you play the range or dodge to break the chain. You use certain angles so Rein canā€™t charge you. You hang back from junk so he canā€™t combo etc. Most of all youā€™re still looking at them and you are in a fight. It feels fair, even if match up wise it might be total unfair.

Hanzo? Good position play vs Hanzo is basically you never looking at him ever or you might get one shot. Itā€™s not interesting game play.

blah blah blah replays are NOT a complete 1:1 copy of the match you played itā€™s a recreation using data and they probably ignore some of it to make them smaller

No he doesnā€™t

Without speaking about hanzos balance, i can tell you that projectile size is only a part of the story, you have to factor projectile length and speed as well

The threatening amount is a fair point. The awareness, not so much. If he misses a shot, you should know where he is and that heā€™s shooting in your direction regardless. Plus itā€™s not hard to keep track of enemies in a 5v5 format. They could make his arrow make a sharper wizz on a near-hit though so you feel threatened.
