There’s not exactly a central source for this. The Blizz stats page is inaccurate as heck, and google gives some sites like overbuff or masteroverwatch whatever it is, and others, but how does one go about seeing their averages & stats compared to the averages of the entire userbase? Percentiles, etc?
I think the most commonly used/referenced is Overbuff, it can show your adverages, your E/D ratio on each hero, you can’t compare yourself to the entire playerbase (that I know of) but you can compare yourself to other players if you know their username. It’s a little hard to understand at first tho… and honestly I need input because I have no idea how good or bad my stats actually are. I see like… percentiles, but idk if that’s relevant or accurate

Well, from the way overbuff reads it’s like … Alright, it’s saying your D.Va in quick play’s rank is 22%. Which means you’re better than 22% of D.Vas, and 88% are better than you.
But don’t feel bad, because these sites aren’t really accurate, and playtime seems to skew results a lot.
For example: Crepsly - Overbuff - Overwatch 2 Statistics
it says I’m ranked in QP 83% on Tracer. Meaning only 17% of Tracer players are better than me. That’s hilariously wrong. lol I’m terrible.
But because I have so many hours played, it somehow messes with the numbers.
So to answer your overall question … there really isn’t a way to tell how good you are compared to the masses. =/ All the sources are pretty inaccurate. I guess you can use them to get a rough estimate. Like if you have two heroes at around equal play time, and your % number is higher on one, then you’re probably better on that hero as opposed to the other, etc.
So the info can be useful, just … not really. 
That seems accurate, I dont play dva in qp barely XD only comp when im made to. my mains are widow and tracer (which i dont get to play in comp), but ill play most of the heroes who can kill, incl Zen. my playtime is only like 200 hours over two years so probably my stuff is messed up too >.> i hope, sort of
