This is what’s always gonna happen taking a 2v1 at any skill level above like Plat unless you’re smurfing though. Tracer can take multiple 1v1s at once, but a 2v1 is death. You can’t los one of them to fight the other either, since they’ll always be healing each other. You can’t kite and run away to kill one while LOSing the other.
Ana is one of the hardest heroes to one mag, to the point it’s pretty much impossible to do it to a good one. Just unscoping is enough to shift her hitbox away from you, and that’s before we add in movement and self healing.
I say you need both unless it’s a Mauga mirror, in which case it’s always gonna be Ana/Kiri.
It does, it’s just that you are usually taking a 2v1 to do this. Tracer, as a general rule, can’t do that. That’s why I said a well coordinated dive is good into him, but not a lone Tracer.
What is your experience fighting against Junkrat? Lately i find it hard playing into Junk because of all the spams, traps and he can essential 1 shot combo Tracer with goof flicks.
Junk, like all DPS, has the tools to instantly delete a Tracer faster than the Tracer can possibly kill the Junk. Nade + mine combo = instant. Helix rocket & melee = instant. Sojourn rail headshot = instant. Mei, Cass, Ashe, Widow, Torb, the list goes on.
It’s the spam that makes it a… harder work environment for the Tracer. A rando nade bounces around a corner, and Tracer is now a melee’s worth of damage from death - or dead, if someone did a melee’s worth of damage to her. Plus, the trap is obviously a real threat to Tracer.
But Tracer’s also strong into Junk the same way Soldier, Cassidy and Sojourn are. You can one-clip him fairly easily, and at midranges a Tracer’s hitscan is more likely to land on the Junk than a Junk’s nades are to hit the Tracer.
I don’t fear Junk. I fear a better Tracer player. A better Cass, Sojourn, Soldier, Ashe, Mei…
CC and aim are the best counters. As well as playing close together unless she has ult.
It depends on the hero you are using. Torb, Sym, and Junkrat keep her honest as well as less aggressive.
Dva can neutralize her threat with DM and chase her off.
There’s not one lone hero or situation where you can countlessly counter Tracer. A good Tracer player is actively changing play style as well as flank routes.
You just have to be ready to adapt to the flow of the fight. As well as be prepared to protect a teammate if they are getting overwhelmed by her

The heroes I seem to have the easiest time against consistently are:
-junk by far
-cass
-reaper
-bastion
I generally don’t go after tanks when I play tracer. I try to focus on supports or isolated dps. I let the rest of my team deal with the enemy tank. If enemy tank comes at me I blink away. Tanks I have the easiest time against are rein and dva.
Most of the support cast I have mixed results. Bap, zen, and kiriko are scary if they have good aim. Though kiriko is the most intimidating one to go against. Lucio, mercy, moira, and life weaver are slippery and can escape pretty easily against someone like me. Ana can go either way with her sleep dart and nade. Can force a reset.
