This is a direct question regarding my individual opinion. My opinion is that I do not care, and it makes zero difference in a static environment what sexuality people believe me to be.
I simply asked a question with zero connotation of what my own personal sexuality is. I am straight, but feel free to think of me as you will, I am not bothered in the slightest.
I don’t find it disrespectful because, the opposite would have to be true that it is respectful for you to know my sexuality, which it is irrelevant one way or the other.

Are you actually incapable of thinking rationally ? Giving credit to one of the biggest lore heroes and front cover Overwatch heroes as being gay, would gain way more than a simple reveal of anther hero and “Oh BTW, we felt pressured so this boi is gay”.
Most hate stupid arguments like yours, cause it makes no sense, is of interest to nobody in the community and more importantly, most people have no issues with minorities coming to mind, look at Apex, not a freaking sound was made, but the whole soldier ordeal came out of nowhere with no freaking clues to it, he was being shown in lore, to far more resemble a straight person and having interactions with Ana etc.
People hated the fact, that Soldier being gay was a long shot by no means really cemented in the lore or game at all and was more of another publicity stunt than to show actual diversity. And SJW publicity stunts really generate hate, cause there is a huge majority that severely dislike this cancerous movements “Main pushers”
