In theory, you can hold it, but in practice, people do not do that. People sacrifice RoF in order to be more consistent with their shot, especially on Baptise. This is because headshot makes so much of an impact.

Yeah, me too as a Pharah Main. I like to make believe that I have spread after 3 rockets fired & that I cannot aim fast enough to let my DPS rip.

I pretend Im forced to CEASE FIRE like S76 cuz ya know. Im just being honest & unbiased. I dont even try to bombard the opponent w/ more Rockets than they can respond fast enough to in order to evade.

I hold my fire like a good little Baptiste until my DPS is subpar to other characters in the game.

Pharah vs Baptiste

Paharah can fire 6 rockets in 4.5s doing a max direct hit dmg of 720 + 1.5s to reload
( 720 / 6 ) is 120 DPS

Except Im not trying to do 120 DPS. Im trying to HOLD MY FIRE like a good little Baptiste. . . . .
…until I see a Baptiste & unload upon him

Now that I know just how BROKEN the Character is as a HITSCAN for Support.

Except… that was never said. They just camped Baptiste with Soldier cause it is easy to do. It isn’t anyone elses fault but your own that you aren’t good enough to beat supports as a DPS player.

I agree with you and don’t have a say In on this topic, but I think the point OP is trying to make the point that they camped a supposed Over powered hero with a hero that most people calling for bapt nerfs say is inferior to bapt (all the people saying bapt is a better 76) while your example is camping an over powered hero with one of his hard counters so the comparison doesn’t really match up.

But that’s not to say there aren’t flaws in the OPs example just stating yours isn’t really a good comparison.

Please show me the math, because Mei has low dps too and I find it hard to believe that Baptiste flatly out-dps’s s:76 without use of the amplification Matrix.
