Bap is the hardest hero in the game

solving problems by creating bigger problems isn’t exactly solving a problem.
Solo Selfish supports are useless in this game by design.

It was hard to read this post, but luckily I was able to put it through my Amplification Matrix to make it normal size.

Baptiste plays like Bap76, use amp matrix for yourself most of the time, like 9/10 times is the best to use it next to your feet. Do damage a lot, you can make a huge impact with it. Don’t play him, when your team plays spread out comp though. He survives better than Zenyatta and he is hitscan so I’d say hes the best dps support there is

hardest hero in the game? not really, if you have experience with FPS games, Bap is one of the most intuitive heroes to transfer your learned skills, his burst SMG is almost 1 for 1 the M-16 from COD-4.
I actually struggle a bit more with Moira than I do with Bap lately because I still haven’t quite managed to get used to her new resource management, whereas Baps healing has better margin of error.

what I will say though is that Bap is a very, very high risk high reward hero for advanced play because of how much power is concentrated in his immortality field. this is, hands down- even moreso than bionade and ressurect the single most clutch potential of any ability in the game, if you know how to properly use this ability you will carry games all by yourself.

Please switch off and pick mercy. kkthxbye

I don’t like playing him as a healer, but I’m a bad zen/moira too so maybe it’s just me. I focus on healing way more than damage.

Nope. Zen doesn’t have to aim his healing or utility in any way. Baptiste does.

I do agree with that. But, zen has no mobility and bap has some. Also zen doesn’t have self sustain but bap has a little. I think overall bap is just a little harder but zen is close.

Jumping into headshots isn’t mobility.

Incorrect, Zen recharges his shield HP.

No doubt, Bap is the most difficult healer to play. His resource management is hard af. I’m trying, though … His experimental changes look REALLY useful and I think he’ll play a role in the upper echelons if they go through.

People always make claims like this because widowmaker is “the hardest hero because aim”. But once you realize that aiming isn’t the only skill, plenty of heroes are actually much harder than her and than you see posts like this. Baptiste isn’t harder than many heroes in this game.

Or the mcree that still waits to see the skull even though theres a window infront of him

Once they put the experimental changes through he’s going to be awesome, have been waiting for these changes since they nerfed him back in the summer.

When you play Bap right you can almost certainly out-whatever any other support if the team comp is right.

That’s beacause Bap was designed for all those GMs and OWL teams that play together 20 hours a day or actually coordinate. He’s kinda bad in random setting, especially after all the nerfs. And yeah, his ult is just for duo queues who do some flanking-noon together. The increased size of ult would help him, but I know that either won’t go live or be reduced.

I’d like to see them increase the projectile speed of his grenades to make it easier to heal from long range, other than that I don’t think he needs much.

I feel like he is designed as a dps first heal second kind of hero.

And don’t forget the Ol’ walking behind a literal lamppost or pillar, which then BARELY breaks LOS to lamp and dying from it.

What do you mean? Shooting at the floor is hard?
Unless you are doing long range healing with baptiste (which is not reccomended since you have other heroes designed for that), his healing is pretty easy.

Till he becomes meta.
Then people will only ever consider the more forgiving parts of his kit and exaggerate them in their arguments.
