Around 2 weeks ago after getting off, I got permanently banned from Overwatch. Last thing I played was some Mercy Parkour Workshop game before I got off, then got banned like 30 minutes later. After multiple appeals and support tickets, I received a vague answer for my ban with “fair play concerns”, and later “exploitative behavior”, and then got a “this decision is final”. I really don’t know what I did to get banned, I just play casually with my friends, and I never (to my knowledge) have exploited? I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar, especially with some Workshop modes, or if anyone has been able to get more help from support.

You guys are not alone in this. I’ve seen far too many people getting banned for absolutely nothing recently. Even when people grab their data off them and see for themselves and find absolutely nothing there. No bad chat, no cheating, nothing. Not even previous actions.
I think their system went nuts after the handover to Microsoft and they’re hoping no one notices. Doesn’t help that talking to their CS department is like pulling teeth, with a bunch of email templates and no answers or help. They’re less concerned with keeping customers and more concerned with brushing everything under the rug.
