This in itself is a problem since you’re refusing to cooperate with your team. I mean, if you don’t want to say anything, that’s absolutely fine. Nobody can force you to talk. However, you’re unable to hear the team’s callouts, so if they’re saying “Go right! Go right!” and you go left, you just kind of screwed your team.
If someone is saying “Okay, I have Rally in a second, so we can push in on that!”, then you push in even before that point and get yourself killed, forcing the team into a 5v6, you might as well be considered a thrower at that point. Just keep the voice chat and team chat on. I know you’re afraid of toxicity, but you’re hurting more people than you’re actually helping yourself by doing this.
If you’re playing Torb in every single game, 24/7, you’re not playing to win. That’s all I’ll say on the matter.
Actually, you grief your team by playing Torb repeatedly. That’s just plain and simple. You can say “But I’m trying!”, but you’re really not. If your team is unable to push because of you and only you, you are the problem. If you’re unwilling to swap because your pick isn’t working, you are deliberately going against your team and sabotaging the game by throwing (whether you’re “intentionally” doing it or not).
Maybe because Torb actually works on defense, but isn’t a good pick on attack?
You seem like a bright individual here, so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and let you piece this puzzle together. You don’t get banned when you play other heroes, but you only get banned when you play Torb, so… What should you be doing in order to avoid being banned?
Because you’ve been banned multiple times already for the same infraction. You should know why you were banned by now (judging from your post, you already do know why, so you didn’t even need the e-mail and/or explanation).
49% win rate doesn’t mean you’re winning more than you’re losing. That’s not how win rates work. If you’re 50%, you’re breaking even. Anything above that means you’re winning more than you’re losing. As for your KDR… That’s actually pretty easy to do when you take into account how many of those elims are being built on defense.
Meanwhile, I bet your KDR on attack though is closer to 1:3. You might be getting 1 elim for every 3 deaths you take, simply because it’s that much harder to push on attack with a Torb. You’re definitely not going to be getting as much value out of Torb on attack as you are on defense. Bragging about your KDR as a Torb is like bragging about your KDR as a Sym or Bastion.
Naturally, you’ll rack up a good amount of kills on defense and not many deaths because you’ll be protected better. On attack though? Not so much. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule (like running Bastion/Orisa on Junkertown attack with a pirate ship).
Well, if you’ve been banned once for playing Torb 24/7, then decide to go back into the game on a new account and try it again, only to be banned another time… Yeah, you kinda do deserve it to be honest. The worst part is, you’ve been doing this multiple times and you still don’t seem to understand the problem.
