ATVI stocks drop after Bungie split - what this means for Overwatch

It’s been in development for quite some time I believe.

Blizzard as I knew them growing up are dead anyways.

Their Magnum opus was Warcraft 3, and Vanilla WoW was very good. Since the merger with Activision they’ve been going steadily down hill.

Overwatch was a great concept, but it has fundamental design problems and Blizzard have ruined it with bad balance decision after bad balance decision.

It doesn’t help that they forced e sports onto a game that’s inherently pretty casual in nature.

Nobody wanted to watch the last OWL grand finals anyway, though. It was lame. Asking people to pay to watch Korea win again is not going to work.

Interesting. They seem to be making another secret MMO as well, and with the talk of them having at least 1 mobile title in the works for each IP, I’m wondering if we’re getting a Mobile OW spinoff that’s a mobile FPS.
